I found this to be a good overview with some interesting annecdotes and useful tips for spotting the signes of questionable financial behavior. The tone became repetetive after awhile though, with paragraph after paragraph of "for example the Russian Mafia is doing this" or "X million dollars was laundered through Antigua in 1999" type factoids. I found it very interesting reading but the interesting and useful substance could probably have been covered in 40-50 pages

I was very impressed by the amount of information and the suberb way it was presented throughout the book. I would definitely recomend this book if you are looking for a well writen book on global money and organised crime.

Peter Lilley's "Dirty Dealing" was published quietly nine months before the horrific events at WTC and The Pentagon. It was as relevant when it was published as it is today, since it tells of the battle in which other countries have taken part to combat the funding of terrorism and drug dealers.

"Dirty Dealing", though essentially a book that simply lays out the facts, should raise awareness of the issues that have blighted American foreign policy for decades. It's important to understand, so that we can ALL share a secure future.
