What strategy is needed to advance the cause of the working class and progressive people? Since Franklin D. I really like the fact that the author explains WHY he recommends certain supplements for certain types and HOW they work, which is based on Orthomolecular Medicine = describes the practice of preventing and treating disease by providing the body with optimal amounts of substances which are natural to the body.

This is an inexpensive book well worth reading. I will probably try some of the supplements after I do some more reading.

I bought this book because of a superb review in the August issue of Elle Magazine comparing all the various diets out there for my husband who suffers from depression. This has been very helpful though I would say that the quiz could be more thorough and explanatory in its results

If you're looking for an alternative to the helpful but also harmful brain medications of this day this book is a great start. Dr. Michael Lesser is a genious of his time. It gives you a simple test to take to find wich "brain type" you have with supprising acuracy. A great find!

Given its origins in oral tradition, and the uniquely poetic cadences of the King James Translation, the Hebrew Old Testament is ideal for the spoken word recording format. This Naxos Audiobook does not disappoint. The commanding bass of Welsh actor Philip Madoc is nicely balanced by the Anton Lesser's sensitive tenor, while Michael Sheen and Josette Simon round out the cast with assured and resonant performances. There is no way to avoid the main criticism -- not nearly enough of the Old Testament is included, even at 6 tapes/CDs, and sometimes the readers don't put enough energy into the more familiar stories. But Sheen and Simon deliver a marvellously sensual reading of Song of Songs, and the full cast wrings every gorgeous drop of poetry out of the selected Psalms. One of the better Naxos audiobooks.
