this book is about experimental cars that were made by various auto companies. the info is somewhat out of date, but tells a lot about a branch of cars that are largely unresearched. sometimes the wording is simplistic and seems to be geared towards children.

This is a classic book since it covers some unusual cars I've never seen before in other books. It's a book about concept cars and discusses somewhat about the way cars are engineered (from a very simplistic view). It's completely out of date, but it might be humorous to look at what was predicted for the future. Certainly a junior reader, suitable for ages 9-12. Fun for a third or fourth grader.
