Best of the Best
A true work of art. Dan takes the reader through the reform and changes jkd under went following Bruce Lee's passing as well as showing many techniques of jkd. At this point in time the book being almost 20 years old it is just as informative and enjoyable to page through today. Unfortunatly I borrowed my copy to a friend almost 15 years ago and haven't seen it since. I truly hope the book is put into re-print so I may buy another copy. Not only does Dan take the reader through the history and comcepts of jkd he also loads the book with pictures of the(now)old Filipino Kali Academy. Truly a collectors item.

One of the best JKD books.
The book written by Dan Inosato, the best student of Bruce Lee, reaches the deapth of JKD philosophies. I believe only the experienced martial artists can barly understand this book. The concepts are very sophisticated. Very good book.

Excellent ideas and home recepies, informative and amusing
Not just for the retired but every home should have one. I bought it as present for my grandad but I am afraid I could not part with it. I now use it almost on daily basis. The script is amusing and informative. Why does this team not write more cookery books?

The Influnce of GURPS Japan in my campaigns
When I read for the first time this book, I wasn't expeting too much, but it really surprised me. GURPS Japan brings to you a complete description of the social classes and the code of honor of the Samurai, the "bushi" of the legends and history in the feudal Japan. Is very cool meet a lot of friends and try to interpretate the honor of being a samurai, or to understand the essence of this marvelous game. The complete description of the weapons and the costumes is very interesting too.

Highly Recommend this audio cassette.
I found out about Dan Lee Dimke a few years ago. One of the programs I bought produced by Dr. Dimke was HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH YOUR BOOMBOX.
I was fascinated by this audio tape program that I got the Copyrights to produce the tape myself.
Get your copy today. It's well worth the few dollars it would cost you to get it.
The tape contains easy-to-follow instructions that you can listen to while at home or driving in your car. It shows you step by step how to put that boombox you have to better use than just listening or playing your favorite music....how to easily generate income with it.

Guro Dan Inosanto is a fountain of Knowledge
All of Guro Dan's books are excellent. It is a great shame that they are out of print. Beg, borrow and search them out. This one is no exception, shows many facets of Guro Dan's relationship with the founder of JKD as well as the physical aspects of training.

Outstanding!
PR Visionaries is a remarkable piece of work! It provides you with the techniques and secrets of the best and leading members of the industry, from Ketchum, Porter Novelli, Brodeur Worldwide, and other leading players.

While strong on the strategic side, PR Visionaries is a bit weaker on the tactical side. I don't hold the editors responsible for this, however, as this is not a how-to manual, per se. For the tactical side, I found Guerrilla PR: Wired by Michael Levine to be a more than adequate resource.

PR Visionaries, as the title says, has the giants of the public relations industry tell you how to get noticed, build a brand, develop and protect a reputation, and how to be effective with key opinion-leaders, including the CEO. While it might be overly dramatic to say the book spills their secrets, PR Visionaries covers the various facets on how to successfully manage a powerful public relations campaign on all levels, one that clearly resonates with key stakeholders and publics.

Great book!
Just bought "The Unofficial Guide to PCs" from Amazon and found a couple of good ideas in it already. To me "Recovering from a PC Disaster", "Taming Tech Support", and the "Resource Directory" plus "Important Documents" in the Appendix alone are worth the bargain price I paid Amazon.

Simply the best. Comprehensive, excellent explanations.
This book is great. The depth of the detail provided allowed me to actually get questions answered without ending up with more questions than I started with. Salespeople who would normally just go through the motions can't do that any more because I now understand, in some detail, how the black box works. That's really all that I ever wanted. If I wanted to be an electrical engineer with interests in circuit design, I'd have gone to school for that. I just want the box to work, without spending a fortune in time or money on it. Finally I can pick up a book, read the right section, and get the box to work right.

There is no fat in the writing, and the book is packed with information. The entire PC process is covered; purchase (a great component description, including moneysaving tips), use (including software), upgrades and replacements. In a review there really is no way to convey an adequate description of all that is there. Just think of the time that you have spent talking to disinterested salespeople, looking at help screens, manuals, third party books, on hold on customer service lines, bugging friends, etc. Then think of a book that actually provides detailed, well-written guidance that answers questions. Get the book.

Excellent book for new Windows 9x computer owners
Whether you've put off moving up from a Windows 3.1 machine, haven't owned a computer before, or want more information about using Windows 95/98 and working with common packages, this book is a tremendous resource. It distills the years of experience the authors have had with Win9x and presents general methods to use when purchasing your computer, fixing hardware and software conflicts, and working with applications. It also contains a good set of web sites as starting points for learning more.

Win9x experts probably won't gain much from this book. However, they're not the intended audience, and I wholeheartedly believe The Unofficial Guide to PCs is well worth the price for any new Windows user.
