My Son Can't Get Enough
This was my three year old son's first Tonka Book and we have read it so many times he has almost memorized it. The people behind the Tonka books seem to realized that a little boy who is interested in trucks doesn't want a cutesy story. This book is very straight forward about how trucks go about building a road. When we drive past road construction sites, my son can name every one of the pieces of machinery.

This book satisfies my son's "heavy machinery" needs!
My 2-1/2 year old son requests this book several times a day. He loves learning how the road-building machines work and what each of their jobs is. Now when we pass a construction site he points out the various machines and tells me what they do, then asks if we can read the "building road book" again!

Excellent Intro to the President and the Revolutionary War
My 4-year-old loves having this read outloud to him. He is fascinated by Washington as a soldier and through this biography has learned a lot about the way in which the revolution led to a new government and country. I would highly recommend this book!

Excellent for children and parents alike!
I purchased this book for my 8-year-old son. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this wonderful book was full of interesting facts that even I didn't know about George Washington and the history of the United States. This book kept my son's interest throughout its 43 pages of text, which is a rarity. And it also includes interesting illustrations including a photograph of a set of dentures much like George Washington must have worn (fascinatingly disgusting!). "George Washington: Soldier, Hero, President" provided a learning experience for both parent and child, and should be a valuable addition to anyone's home library.

We're Back
In 1993 We're Back was in theaters. It is my favorite book also , my favorite movie. It was funny and I laughed ,when I read it. It was just great ,everyone should read it. I like the part when all the Dinasaurs screamed, cause they didn't want to get in trouble.

fascinating for kids, entertaining for parents
My five year old son loves this book and I've read it to him many times. It's about a group of dinosaurs transported to modern New York and their adventures in the city.

What I especially like about the book is that the humor makes an adult smile and I don't mind reading it repeatedly.

An X-MEN fans answer to How it all began?
This was truly a well written book. It gave the readers a chance to look at an adventure through the eyes of the greatest superhero team of all time, the X-MEN. Each X-Man had their on personality and for me this made the story more believable. Different X-MEN adventures in one book, a must have for X-MEN fans.

The Xavier Files

As a huge fan of the X-Men, I have read many novelizations and many comics. But the X-Men themselves remain mostly a mystery. Where do they come from? Why did Xavier choose them? What did they do in their pasts that made them such prime candidates for a team in which trust is everything? All the questions are answered here.

It gives you a real insider's view of the X-Men. You journy to the heart of Cerebro, the X-Men's super advanced computer used mainly for the detection of powerful mutants, and see for yourself how it used to be. Each X-Man entered a tale of thier past, something really big that changed their lives. For Jubilee, it was the death of her parents, and then her foster parents, within a year. For Rogue, it was discovering that she wasn't as invincible as she thought. For Xavier himself, (the X-Men's mentor, teacher, and all around best friend) it was his step-brother, Cain Marko, aka the Unstoppable Juggernaut. This is a must-have for any X-Men fan. To find more answers to the questions you've had for years, order your copy today!

Brightly colored, and a lot of fun!
This cute little book (29 pages, excluding the title page and so forth) is another excellent example of the work of the incomparable Charles M. Schulz. In this book it's St. Valentine's Day, the time of love, candy and Valentine cards. Peppermint Patty sends a card to Charlie Brown, but it's the Little Red-Haired Girl that his heart goes out to. Now, if Charlie Brown can only get her to notice him...

When I was a child, I absolutely loved the Peanuts, and I am so pleased that my own children have now fallen in love with those same funny characters. This book is large and attractive, with brightly colored pictures that are sure to please the young reader (and Peanuts fans of all ages)! My kids really loved a scene when Charlie Brown decides to practice giving the Little Red-Haired Girl a valentine with Snoopy, who surprises him by putting on a red wig!

This is a great book, and my family and I highly recommend it to you!

Excellent Presentation
This is a very good book for young children. The sounds go perfectly with the story, which is richly illustrated and true to the movie.

Many times these types of books have effects, which are made from token stock sounds. Not these, they are very faithful to the movie presentation.

My daughter went back to this day after day.
