Book report about The Good Luck Pony by Catherine Marie Fox
This book is about a girl who loved horses like I do. She always wanted to ride a real one and go very fast. Then one day she took some riding lessons. First, she learned how to guide the pony by using it's reins. Each week she took her pony around a circle with some other girls. One day she had to ride a different pony. She felt very unconformable on the new pony. Then all of a sudden the pony took off while the little girl went with him getting hit in the face with branches. Then the instructor ran with her pony and grabbed the reins. The little girl's pony stopped. Then... Find out yourself when you order it. I loved this book because it is about horses which I love and it has perfect words so I can read it easier. Also I love it because it has a charm which is a gold horse with a gold chain. It is very pretty. I think it was a good story because it teaches you how to be brave. I think you would love it if you love horses. I am collecting all of Elizabeth Koda-Callan's books which is also called Magic Charm books. She's my favorite author because she writes all about little girls with different stories. Elizabeth Koda-Callan now lives in New York city. You can read more about her in the back of the pages from "The Good Luck Pony."

A must-read book for youngsters.
This book is an easy-to-read book which is great for young children just starting to read, to help read better.

Kindergarten to Yale
...This book is so cute and touching, and not only is it a book, it comes with a locket, so it's like two prizes in one. I highly recommend this for people (especially women) of all ages.

Good Book
This story is about a girl that can never do anything right {Like putting on her clothes, brushing her teeth, and doing her math problems for example}. Then one day her Great Aunt comes to visit and she gives her a golden locket that once belonged to her mother. Her Aunt tells her that when she wears the locket, she can do whatever it is she wants, but only if she believes she can. She wondered what was inside of this locket that could have the power to do this. To find out what it was that helped this little girl do the things that she one day thought she couldn't do, read the book.

Having two little sisters myself, I think this is a good book for children to read {or have read to them}. This book shows that you have the power to accomplish anything as long as you just believe in yourself and what you are doing. I believe that is a good lesson for kids today to learn, so read the book today!

Cute story of self-worth
I'm almost twenty, and I'm writing this review to rave about a book written for a five-year-old. Why? Although, it's plot is simple and very elementary, Elizabeth Koda-Callan's story rings true for all ages.

The little girl's realization that the magic in her life lies within herself is a very sincere and meaningful idea. I received this book as a high school graduation present, but I still wear the locket that comes with the book as a reminder that the magic that I see in my life is the magic I create.

This book is a great story of knowing who you are and knowing that nothing can let you down if you continue to believe in yourself.

A Lesson in the Value of Being and Individual
This is an exquisite book that is more than just a storybook. It is about "a shy little girl who loved to draw" but who suffers because her classmates think her renditions are "weird," only to find....

Well, I can't give away the end, can I?

Any child--especially any little girl--will love this book. It comes with a tiny palette charm, a place to draw her own self-portrait, and pages designed for other creative efforts.

Carolyn Howard-Johnson, author of "This is the Place"

I lovely little book
The magic charm books are so wonderful! The Artist's pallet was just as great as the other 10! A story of a little girl who knows what she loves to do! It's just great!

My Daughter Loved It
For my 5-year-old who passionately wants to do things the right way and be the best at something, this book was a wonderful gift. She related to the little girl in the story, who wanted to bake as well as her mother did but was intimidated by her own inexperience and past failures. The story encourages readers to get help when they need it, but also to try hard things by themselves and never give up. Dads, as well as moms, will enjoy reading it with their daughters, because the little girl's father plays just as important a part as her mother does. My daughter remembers the point of the story whenever she puts on the necklace that came with it. Reading The Queen of Hearts made us want to put into practice what we had learned. We had to find the cookie recipe in a cookbook though, as it didn't come with the book. I would recommend this book as a gift for any little girl.

Actually, I Loved It
I felt sorry for the little girl who was afraid that if she baked cookies for her school party they would be yukky. I love to bake with my mom. We like to bake chocolate chip cookies and things for snacktime at kindergarten, but we also made the cookies like the little girl did in the book. They really were the best cookies! I like it when my mom reads with me and bakes with me. And the book had a necklace like a cookie cutter in it! I think I can make cookies as good as the girl in Queen of Hearts. Other girls will like this book too, but probably not boys.

This book tells the story of the ability to dance on the ice for the children. The Shiny Skates teaches the young skater to follow her dreams. It also gives the skater the ability to gain self-esteem and confidence. The charms of the skates are also included in the book.

It is good reading for any age group. Our granddaughter, 8 years old, really likes the book.

Once there was a little girl who wanted a kitten!
Elizabeth Koda-Callan is a designer, illustrator, and best-selling children's book author. She lives in New York City with her cat named Cinnamon. She has beautifully illustrated a story of a little girl who's dream comes true. On the front cover, a silver cat charm is worn on a silver chain by "the little girl." This charm is real and can be removed.

My nieces have two adorable kittens and we all love cats, so we enjoy reading books about cats, cats and more cats. I found this book was an excellent way to teach young girls the responsibility of taking care of a cat or kittens.

"The little girl" in the story is given the responsibility of looking after her neighbours cat. Soon she learns that cats don't come when called. She has to develop a certain degree of patience in order to wait for the silver tabby named Clover to learn to like her. She discovers that cats love to chase things and soon she and Clover are the best of friends.

At the end of the story, "the little girl" finds that her patience pays off. When she returns to see Clover and bring her a gift, Clover in fact has a gift for "the little girl." I loved this book because it teaches and entertains.

This book was adventureous.
This book was adventurous because it is a story about a little girl who has her own adventures and excitement. She goes to camp. She reads when all the other kids are playing volleyball. Her counselor asks her to go and play volleyball., and then she misses all the balls that come her way. In the night, she was reading a book under her covers, and her friend Jenny wanted her to read to her. They read until they were quite sleep. The next day the little girl went from tennis to archery to canoeing to swimming, but she wasn't any good at, so she went back to her cabin to read. She reads to her camp friends, and they like it. She gets an award, and she even likes camp after all.

The Silver Slippers
If you're looking for a book full of motivatoin and encouragement, "The Silver Slippers" is the perfect choice. This book tells the story of a little girl who loved to dance, but never put her whole heart into it, until one day when the right motivation came along. In her class, they were to have a recital. This made the little girl glow with excitement. When she learned that the best ballerina in the class would be rewarded with being able to be the "Prima Ballerina." For the following weeks up until the recital, the little girl practiced and practiced, trying to perfect her ballet. While her friends did lived thier normal every day lives, the little girl stayed inside and worked extrememly hard. Sometimes the little girl would get down because of how long it was taking to get it right, so her mother got her a pair of silver slippers to hang around her neck. Every time the little girl danced, she wore the slippers as a reminder of the hard work she had done. When the time came to find out who the "Prima ballerina" was, the little girl became very nervous. But not for long, as she found out she got to be the star of the recital. The night came and as the girl got nervous, she looked at the slippers around her neck and took a step out on stage. Her performance was flawless. A true reward for her hard work. This book shows the determination of one little girl, and the reward she got from hard work. It is the perfect book for a bit of encouragement and motivation. Every child should have a copy of "The Silver Slippers."

Prima for the prima ballerina
This book gives confidence to any little one about to make her debut on stage! It addresses the same fears that most little ones anticipate and the necklace adds the perfect touch. I would highly reccommend for any child conquering any fear.
