Pettibon OPUS GRANDE
This has all the great early Pettibon images, as seen in his
renowned 'zines from the early 1980's. It is worth getting, and
is all you need when it comes to early Pettibon. Very Powerful
stuff.

Raymond Pettibon complete works
This book is Raymond Pettibon complete works from 1978-1978. If you never heard of Raymond Pettibon he was the in-house artist for SST records. He's done art work for Black Flag, Sonic Youth, and the Minutemen. His artwork looks at the social and political confusion of life. Pettibon's artwork consist of somewhat viloent imagery but with a twist of humor. Anyone that has a since of humor will love Pettibon's artwork.

The Best Pettibon Book Yet
A few years ago, Quimby's books in Chicago had a whole bunch of these little digest-sized, xerox-produced, hand stapled booklets by Raymond Pettibon. I never bought any, and always regretted it. Some savvy art-speculator probably snatched up the whole lot. They were selling them for a dollar or two each, and now they go for hundreds on the market. They were personally handmade by the great Pettibon himself, and thus qualified as actual Pettibon original artworks. Anyway, I missed my chance to get any of these--not necessarily to profit from them, just to, y'know, have 'em--but here is your chance(I've already got it) to have a near-complete collection. The books are presented actual size (approx. 8.5"x5.5"), arranged chronologically, each issue complete with front and back covers, and a detailed bibliography at the end. Aging punkers will probably recognize some of this stuff from their SST record covers and gig flyers, but there's alot of stuff I had never seen before. Truly, truly great.

Economic Principles: Growth and Environment
Published in Textbook Binding by Avi Pub Co (1986)
Author: A. Robert Koch
Amazon base price: $29.95
Average review score:

An excellent introductory text for understanding economics.
A. Robert Koch has presented an intelligible and thorough text to grasp basic economic principles. It is well designed for students who just have a cursory interest in understanding how economic principles can be applied to their daily lives.(p)

I found the text enjoyable and a good reinforcement of microeconomic theory, which I had learned years ago. Koch does an excellent job in maintaining the reader's interest by providing numerous real world examples to a subject which can become boring to those not having any genuine interest in learning economics principles. I highly recommend this text to lay people and other novices in the area of economics.

Must reading for every christian especially teachers ,pastor
Jewish History speaks of the last Jewish Revolt of AD132 to 135 called the failed Bar Koch ba Revolt. I don't think it's co-incidence the Authors have the same name. The BIG difference is this revolution (turning back to our roots)is being lead by the HOLY SPIRIT of God and the TRUTH of HIS WORD. It's packed full of TRUTH. His TRUTH concerning anti-Judiasm in the Early Church after AD 100 is the stone that will bring the GIANT of Anti-Semitism down. All the church needs to do is pick up this book and cut off his head, Arise and Live 2002 To 2005.

Important Compilation From One Who Spurred Tiffany's Revival
By the time Louis Comfort Tiffany died in 1933, the once world renouned artist was well on his way to obscurity. In 1954, Robert Koch, then a graduate student studying architecture at Yale University came across Tiffany's work. This introduction spawned a life long immersion in the artistry of Louis C. Tiffany. As a university professor of art history, Robert Koch's influence can be found in the revival of interest in the turn of the 20th century movements known as Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau. His most important contribution, however, has been in repopularizing Tiffany for later generations. Today, many volumes of uneven quality on Tiffany have been published. Most are simply picture books that dazzle the eye. All, however, owe much to the 1964 publication of Robert Koch's original "Rebel in Glass" that stirred the renewal of interest in Louis Tiffany by presenting not only important photographs but original scholarship that still is unsurpassed. The new "Collected Works of Robert Koch" brings together in one volume his three previously published books on Tiffany. As an added bonus, the reader will find new, luscious photographs that further cement Tiffany's place as one of America's most important artists. This book is a must, not only for Tiffany collectors but for anyone interested in the history of American art, Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts.

An essential tool for the serious astrologer
Sure, you can do it all with a computer now--but will you know what it is you've done? With this book, you'll be able to accurately figure house cusps (Placidus or Koch) for virtually any birth time and place (extreme latitudes excepted). If you also buy a decent ephemeris, you'll be able to cast horoscopes like a pro. I definitely think knowing how to do it by hand adds something to the experience.

Successful Church Building

Good Book At High Price
The book has excellent information written in an easy to read manner. The "SOUL SEARCHING" section is well written. I thought that the "Training Session for the Building Committee" was too generalized. I was expecting more "how to" information in this section. Additionally, I felt the book price was high.

All churches should read this book before they build
I'm so glad I found this book. It makes managing a church building project much easier. I especially like the parts about Soul Searching - which is the author's term for figuring out what to build. Buying this book is money well spent.

Great book for church building committees!
This is a great book for churches that are thinking of building a new facility of any size. It is written from the Building Committee Chair's point of view. It walks you through the process from the vision through construction. It takes the fear out of a very complex project!

The Crucial Element
BG Koch's slim volume reveals the nuts and bolts of the day to day intelligence grind that led to many of Patton's key victories. In down to earth prose Koch explains how the intelligence section went about its job behind the scenes ensuring operational success for Patton's various WWII commands. This volume helps make clear that many of Patton's accomplishments can be attributed to his understanding of how to exercise his staff at its full potential. While perhaps somewhat dry for the general reader this work is particularly recommended for those interested in historical analysis of the military staff as well as the evolution of combat intelligence organizations and methods. It is also useful to Patton students for its insights into "Old Blood and Guts'" genius of command.

Not bad, not bad at all
I found that this book was a bit to thin on details, but that it provided an excellent insite into World War Two battlefield intelligence planning. Certainly this is not a book for everyone, but for those in the field of intelligence (military or not), this is a good read.
