I'm addicted...
The cover first caught my eye while I was looking for a good fantasy book at the library. So I picked it up and started reading from page 1 and I could not put it down. My mom had to drag me out of the library, almost forgetting to check it out.
This is an amazingly detailed book; beautiful description that makes you feel like you are right there beside Vivian (the main character). It's definitly not your ordinary werewolf story. These are rare packs of half-man, half-wolves, that live among humans, but release their instincts during the full-moon. Tradition is what they live by, and usually what they die by. Part of their tradition is no mixing with man. You must stay with the pack. But Vivian falls in love with a man, forgets everything, and goes along with her heart. Read and see the consequences... you won't be disappointed!
This book is amazing! Read it!!

Blood is sweeter than chocolate
Vivianne is not a "normal" teenager. She is a sleek and powerful predator. She is a wereworlf. But one day at school she notices a poem describing the change into a wolf next to a picture she has drawn in the school newspaper. She immediately seeks the author out wanting to know how some human should dare know the change into wolf form. The author turns out to be a boy named Aiden, who with his bohemian looks and interest in magaick and all things weird intruiges Vivianne like no human ever has before. Aiden and Vivian start to fall in love even though she knows it's forbidden bcause he is a "meat boy" and only half a person for Moon's sake! Not to mention that she is now Queen B and belongs to the leader of the clan, Gabriel. Vivianne decides she no longer wants to hide herself from Aiden and decides to show him her true self. What will happen? Will Aiden still love her?

What a GREAT book. Man, I thought that Gabriel was awesome and Aiden was a real wimp. What is it with hott dangerous guys named Gabriel (see Dark Visions by: LJ Smith)? Anywayz buy this book. You wont regret it.

Strange name - fantastic book
I read this book because a friend suggested it, and since then I have read it twice. This book is incredible. The main character Vivian will make you think what it is like to be a teenager - even if you aren't a werewolf. This book is unusual in that Vivian can control her being a werewolf except during the full moon. The only other book that I have read about werewolves that has this is "Blood Trail" by Tanya Huff. Vivian's "pack" has moved to the suburbs after their farm was burnt down and their leader (Vivians father) died. In the suburbs there are constant fights for leadership, and Vivians mother must deal with the threat from a younger female. All that conflict is made worse when Vivian starts seeing a "meat boy". Vivian must decide whether or not to reveal her true nature to her new love - and she must also deal with the advances of the Five.

Vivian was a character that became like an old friend. You completely enter her world of scornful teenagers and pack-rules of her family. Gabriel makes you love him and hate him in turn as he becomes Vivians hunter and protector. At times I was frustrated with this book because it seems as if the author was keeping a secret from you - only to have the story engulf you.

I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone with a taste for the unusual. If you enjoy this book then you should also try "Blood Trail" - which has a vampire as well as werewolves.

Book Review
Zoë is going through some hard times. Her mother is in the hospital because she is dying of cancer; her best friend, the only person she really talks to is moving away; her father is so depressed he barely even looks at her; and she has befriended her stocker, a vampire. Simon has been hunting sown his older brother Christopher. Simon's out to get revenge on Christopher for killing their mother. But Simon need's help, he can't do it on his own so Zoe volunteers to help him out. Annette Curtis Klause is an amazing writer. It is impossible to put this book down once you start reading it. Her story is so mesmerizing and you can really get into Zoë's shoes. I enjoyed this book, The Silver Kiss, very much and recommend that you read Blood and Chocolate.

"Silver Kiss" is Pure Vampire Gold
Wow, whenever someone will dare try and tell me that a book about vampires can't be powerful, I'm going to just hand them this book and say "read this and just try saying that again." This book is truly a beautiful, moving piece of writing. Zoe's life seems to be falling around her. With her mother battling life-threatening cancer, her father seeming not to truly listen to her anymore, and her best friend moving to Oregon, things just don't seem to be looking up. Then Simon walks in. Strange, mysterious, silver-haired, beautiful Simon. Simon. The Vampire. Who will change her life forever.

The characters in "The Silver Kiss" are well developed, easy to identify with, and completely unforgettable. Every tear, laugh, surprise and kiss, you feel along with them. The language of the book is so beautiful and lyrical, sometimes you catch yourself thinking... wait... THIS is a vampire novel?????

I don't care if you don't like vampires, or if you don't like reading romances, or teen dramas, or if you don't like reading books at all.

You won't be able to put this book down, and like a good kiss, you won't want it to end.

Five stars, ten stars, a hundred stars!
What an incredibly sweet and beautiful story. I just can't adequately express how wonderful this book is! The characters were complex, likeable, sympathetic. The plot was complicated and engaging.

Zoe's mother is dying of cancer, and her father deals with it by spending hours and hours every day at the hospital and refusing to let Zoe come. But Zoe needs to come. And she wants to talk about death. But no one will discuss it with her--her mother, her father, her best friend. Then Zoe meets Simon--beautiful, unearthly Simon. (By the way, Simon was really really sexy. I mean, he's up there with Ethan from Vivian Vande Velde's "Companions of the Night" and the Marquis from Sherwood Smith's "Court/Crown Duel".) Anyways, so Simon shows up at Zoe's door on Halloween and asks to be invited in. She doesn't know why, but she lets him. And she finds out that Simon is a vampire. Simon says his brother, Christopher, is a vicious vampire who murders for fun. He even killed their mother 300 years ago. Simon wants Zoe to help him get his revenge. She agrees, not only because she's fallen in love with Simon, but also because he'll discuss death with her. And he certainly knows a lot about death. So the plot progresses and the tension builds until finally it comes to a spectacularly thrilling and dramatic climax.

The ending is sad, but it was a memorable sadness, and that's the kind of ending this book deserves--memorable. If you're looking for suspense, drama, great characters, touching romance, and a wonderful plot, this book has it. I promise. Read it, and you will never forget it.

But she's not the only one that wants it. And if she get's in it's way she might not make it off the ship alive.

In my opinion this was a great book. SOmething that anyone can enjoy. I myself usually stick to stories about just the supernatural, and if it was by anyone else than Annette Curtis Klause I would have never picked it up. Now I'm glad I did! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

Aliens, spaceships, ghosts; what will they think of next?
This is about a girl named Robin Goodfellow - a name she really doesn't like (for people keep quoting Shakespeare to her), but she does like the nickname which goes along with it, Puck. Puck gets expelled from school (seventh grade, I think), and so then is going to go to the planet Shoon (as know by the natives) to be with her parents. On board, mysteries arise. Puck befriends a Shoowa, who is also going home in shame, but because he lost (it was stolen) a precious relic of his people. Puck decides to help Hush, and together, they must find out who stole the Soo, and where it is.
