Very very good !!
Saskia Rodgers met Andreas Latimer in a club where she was forced to play this hussy, to spy for her friend. Saskia thought he was her friend's husband and Andreas thought she was those promiscuous females. He rejects her when Saskia practically throws herself onto him. The next morning it turns out that Andreas was to be her new boss. Yikes! Andreas hold the scence in the club over her and blackmails her into playing the part of his fiancee, to present to his Greek grandfather and to escape from marrying his cousin, Athena.

The only glitch in his plans is that Andreas think Saskia is a "woman of the world" when she's only a virgin! And she's forced to share a room with him in his family's villa, but how are you supposed to tell somebody that you're a virgin!

I love THE DEMETRIOS VIRGIN. This book belongs in the series Greek Tycoon and whoever normally enjoys books from this series would definitely enjoy this one. I liked how Athena would throw an occasional wrench in Andreas and Saskia's relationship because Athena may think that's keeping them apart when it really pulls them together. The one thing that I hated was how Andreas would always mention "Because I'm Greek" or "That's the Greek side of me". I hated comments like that but other than that, THE DEMETRIOS VIRGIN is very enjoyable!

I love this book it is the best book.
I cant say enough about this book. The story was wonderful. I would read this over and over again. The story was written wonderfull you cant not enjoying this book. If you want to read a book and fall in love with the story this is the one to read. You cant help but love the story if your a true romantic at heart.

Enjoyable reading
Penny Jordans books are always gripping. She has not let us down this time also. This was a very well woven tale. The setting was in greece. A good one!! I could not help rating it with 5 stars. We look forward to more books along the same lines by Ms Jordan

Mission - Make-over (Romance)

<~~~~~* My Favorite, So Far *~~~~~>
¡§Mission¡¨ is my favorite book, at least out of all the books I read so far, that I could remember. I like these kinds of books where the heroine changes and defeats the bad guys (not exactly, but in a way) and finds true love.

Lucianna Stewart is a tomboy, she even dresses like one, but you really can¡¦t blame her because her mother died when she was a few months old and was raised by a father and 4 brothers! Anyways she works as a mechanic and has a boyfriend, John. John is like the bad guy, he don¡¦t treat her as a boyfriend would treat a girlfriend and when he leaves on a business trip to Canada, Lucianna decided she had enough. She decided that she should act more feminine and this is where Jake comes in.

Jake Carlisle is Lucianna¡¦s neighbor and a friend of the family¡¦s since like forever(?) and he¡¦s the gorgeous sexy type. He decides to help Lucianna by making her look and act more feminine and it works. He teaches her how to flirt, to look at the signs of body language, and among other stuff. What he didn¡¦t tell her was why de wants to help, she thinks it¡¦s out of his good heart, although he has other intentions.

When John comes back from Canada, he¡¦ll see a whole new Lucianna, and a whole new attitude. Along with a few changes Lucianna decides to make in her life about the boys in particular.

I liked this book it was a light read. (But what Harlequin books weren¡¦t a light read?) Anyways I like these kinds of books and i don¡¦t normally find these kinds of romances where the hero/heroine would change itself to discover more and to realize more. I wonder if I¡¦m the only one who like these books because most of my friends like to read books about the strong and independent types.

A good read!
I really liked this book. It was a fast read, but the story was pretty romantic, even if it had a typical romance story theme. The characters, Jake and Luce, were pretty likable and I felt sad that they felt they had to hide their feelings. At the beginning of the book, I felt bad for Luce because she really did not know how to act feminine, but I did think she was a somewhat weak female character. But that is just my opinion. But if you have liked Penny Jordan in the past you will probably like this book, even if it is similar to a lot of her other books.

Learning how to be a woman!
Lucianna Steward wasn't aware of her femaleness. She was acting, behaving and dressing like a man until handsome Jake Carlise accepted to help Lucianna in making her lover to propose by making her look more like a woman. He start teaching her how to dress, how to flirt and how to kiss. But once she start changing he couln't help falling in love with her!! Really wonderful story!

I loved silver. It is one of the best books written by any author out there. It gives and take and keep your mind working that when you think ok that is it, it gets better. I have read it four times and always find new things in it that I missed. I really enjoyed this book to the ultimate pleasure.

Silver is not a lady to cross
Wow! What a plot. Penny brings together a rich young heiress (ugly duckling), a distant cousin who woos her for her money, a plot for revenge, and a blind bitter man. The heroine, Silver, hires a man to teach her the art of seduction so she can pay her cousin, who jilted her, back. You learn the bitter price that people pay for revenge and how it is not always so sweet. Great story line, great characters. I love her plots. Please buy or order this book. You won't be able to put it down.

One fo the best books I've ever read!
Silver is truly one of Penny Jordan's masterpiece! I bougth it over 8 years ago and I still go back to read and re-read it!

The Hidden Years by Penney Jordan
The Hidden Years was one of the most interesting and enjoyable books I have ever read. I truly was unable to put it down. The characters were both intriging and very unique. I would highly recommend this novel to everyone.

I really hated when I finished the book as I enjoyed it so much and haven't read a book as good in a long time!

Unforgettable reading pleasure!
I was very impressed with Jordan's style and the strategies she employed in writing this novel. Jordan has taken the threads from the lives of her characters and skillfully spun them into a truly beautiful, sensitive and memorable piece of work. Essentially the story revolves around the lives of two women, a mother (Liz) and her daughter (Sage), their experiences of hardships and turmoil, of great sacrifice, tragedy and rejection, and of course, wonderful (and sometimes forbidden) love. What I found most impressive was that Jordan so effectively and seemingly effortlessly moved through time. She not only presents the story of Liz and Sage in the present, but interweaves the story of Liz as a brave young women into this, a story painstakingly documented in Liz'z diaries. Jordan takes, not only these two women, but a host of other characters, and creates and develops lives and personalities so real, it feels as if they are actual people and not fictitious characters from a book. I enjoyed this book tremendously. I have read it several times, and still enjoy paging through it. The Hidden Years is a novel that I whole-heartedly reccommend.

More Perfection from Penny Jordan
More perfection from Penny Jordan in The Perfect Night. Once again, Ms. Jordan leaves us begging for more. Can't wait for the next one!

In the continuing saga of the Crightons, we get to know Katie Crighton and Sebastian Cooke. Katie works in the family law firm and Sebastian is a client who almost runs her over. Not a great way to start a relationship! Katie believes she's in love with Gareth, who just happens to be married to her twin sister Louise. What does it take to make her realize that true love is right next door?

Simply Fabulous
Penny Jordan delivers another breath-taking book in this continuation of the series "The Crightons". Two distantly related members of the Crighton family, Kate Crighton(who is a Crighton) and Sebastian Cooke(whose cousin married a Crighton) meet for the first time, not very surprising considering the fact that in this whole series, Crightons seem to be popping all over the place, being such a large family. Their first meeting is not a pleasant one, with Sebastian's car almost hitting Kate, who happened to be walking on the road. With an instant dislike on both sides, they were none too pleased to find they were related. But the main essence of the story is finding out that they are neighbors (both of them, new-comers to the town, having moved into the same apartment complex). In spite of all the hostility, the undeniable attraction between them ensures a happy ending. The main plus points of the book are the flaming passion between the main characters, and the sometimes humorous portrayal of the match-making family. A good book if I ever read one.

Best of the best!
I'm a Penny Jordan Harlequin Presents fan (I have most of them & am trying to collect ALL of them!) but, this one is my favorite! It's also one of my HP all-time favorites.

Sara is likeable & vulnerable, even though she isn't as strong a female lead as I usually prefer, & Jonas is one of Penny Jordan's (and Harlequin's) most appealing male leads.

The story has a slight twist from the usual plot developments, and that makes it even better. The chemistry between Sara & Jonas just seemed to jump off the pages and it was so real that I have read this book several times, and I have a lot of books!

If you haven't read Penny Jordan's Harlequin Presents books yet, start with this one, because it's a gem.

Too Short A Book - it's that good
I bought this book when it first came out in 1987. I had never heard of Penny Jordan and I was just a teenager starting to read Harlequin romance novels. I have never read such a romantic book in my life. Jake is the sexiest guy and I would love to meet him! Sara (if I remember correctly) has moved in with her brother who is in a wheelchair and is mourning the death of her fiancee. She is living like she died too and will not open herself up to others. She meets Jake in the garden early one morning dressed in her nightgown and they exchange a few caustic words, then he proceeds to kiss her and other things. She rips away from him, denying that she felt anything. She is constantly telling herself that she has to live for the memory of her dead fiancee. Jake becomes a part of her life because his sister likes her brother and they are forced together. He forces her to admit that she is attracted to him and the story goes on. The characters are always written in great detail and she really develops them. The secondary characters are also well-developed. I recommend ordering this book if you enjoy Penny Jordan. One of her best Harlequins!

You Owe Me
This book is fantastic reading. I was a little annoyed at the beginning with one of the main character but slowing I came to love that character. Of course every book needs at least a villain but the villain in this book is not your everyday 2-dimensional character. I would recommend everyone to read this book.

i really owe the book something.
it is one of penny jordan's best works.the characters are potrayed very well.it is worth reading.i have recommended my friends to read this book.

Synopsis
Return of the prodigal son

Years ago , David Crighton went missing.Deliverately. He'd walked away from his close knit family, beautiful home and a scandal of his own making.

Since then he's met Honor Jessop. A spirited woman with more warmth and compassion than he's ever known. But he's told her nothing of his true identity- or his dark past.

Now, though, it's time for Honor to find out the shocking truth. And for the Crighton family to be thrown into turmoil.

Because David is finally ready to come home.

Return to Haslewich
Once again, Penny Jordan works her magic. A wonderful conclusion to the Crighton family saga. Coming Home finally answers the questions about where David Crighton has been since he disappeared from Haslewich. Will his twin brother Jon accept his return to the family fold? How will his children Olivia and Jack react to his re-appearnce?

Definately a must! I hope Penny Jordan follows up with additional tales of the Crightons. Perhaps Joss or John???

The Prodigal Son Returns
"Coming Home" tells the story of David Crighton's return. David was introduced in "The Perfect Family", the first book in the Crighton Family series. In that book, the family gathers to celebrate the 50th birthday of twins David and Jon. As the first born, his father placed David on a pedestal at the expense of his more deserving twin brother Jon. Struggling under the pressure of trying to live up to the image his father has created for him, David commits a desperate act--he embezzles money from one his clients. At the party, he suffers a serious heart attack. While recuperating in a nursing home, David decides he wants out. He checks himself out of the nursing home, turning his back on his family and the life he despises, and walks away--in his mind--for good.

In "Coming Home", David decides to return. He's spent the past years in Jamaica, working alongside Father Ignatius, a Jesuit priest, caring for the sick and dying. The biblical allusion to the prodigal son is indeed appropriate for David.

"Coming Home" is beautifully written and Penny Jordan fans won't be disappointed. David's transformation is moving and believable. Naturally, I expected most of his story to revolve around what happens when he and his family are reunited. How does he feel? How do they feel? Can the wounds he inflicted ever heal? Unfortunately, none of these questions get answered thoroughly here, and this is the only complaint I have with the novel. "Coming Home" focuses more on the romance between David and Honor Jessop, an herbalist new to Haselwich. In addition, Ms. Jordan introduces two other story lines involving David's children, Olivia and Jack. Smells like a sequel--or sequels--of course!!

In "Coming Home", Penny Jordan tells a dramatic story of salvation and redemption with great insight, compassion, and empathy for her hero. We feel David's remorse. We can recognize ourselves in him. That Ms. Jordan can evoke within us these feelings and a strong sense of self-identification with her hero is proof of her talent and sensitivity.
