Just what I needed to know
The Delta Guide really "cuts to the chase" when it comes to uncovering the new features offered by Windows Server 2003. The book is accurate, easy to understand, and concise. If you're already a pro on Windows 2000, this book can really help you get up to speed on Windows Server 2003. If you're even thinking about deploying Microsoft's new server OS, you should add this book to your library.

5 Star Book for sure!
This book gives you all the goodies about Windows Server 2003, perfect view of what this new version has within, plus a lot more! This book was simple to read and understand, finished it in one weekend, and most of all, it's a great reference unlike some 2,000 Page Bibles...

Top Notch... Microsoft Press ought to take notes
This is a very clear and concise book. If your familiar with Windows 2000 and only want to review the changes in the OS than this is the way to go. I have read a couple of books on Windows Server 2003 and they were more of a review of Windows 2000. If your interested in upgrading your MCSA or MCSE certification to Windows Server 2003 certification, then this book is a must read.

More than you could ever want in a cookbook!
I never dreamt I'd see the day when I, of all non-cooking people, would say these words but wow, what a terrific cookbook Jeanne Jones' HEALTHY COOKING is! And you may be asking yourself "if she's a non-cooking person how would she know this is a great cookbook?" Well, I'll tell you. Because cooking is my father's absolute favorite hobby, I've been handed down many a cookbook from him with his hopes that maybe, just maybe, one of them might spark the hidden cook in me. But until HEALTHY COOKING I've never picked up a cookbook and looked at it more than once before placing it on the shelf to collect dust (let alone actually cook something out of it).

So anyway, back to why this book is wonderful. In addition to the obvious perks of the recipes being healthy and fast (the fast part making cooking relatively painless for those of us who don't wish to be in the kitchen any longer than absolutely necessary) the beginning of the book gives great advice on topics such as setting up your kitchen, purchasing poultry, storing food, and much more; the margins of the recipe pages are chock full of tips; but my absolute favorite is the "Spin Off" section at the bottom of each recipe which provides useful ideas for what to do with those pesky leftovers (invaluable information for those of us cooking for only one or two people). What more could you ask for in a cookbook? A sincere thank you to Jeanne Jones for creating such a tremendous cookbook as it's accomplished a feat none other, neither book nor human, could. You got a non-cook cooking!

My favorite cookbook!
This cookbook was the first one I ever bought...and it remains my favorite, even after getting married and amassing a very large cookbook collection. What I love about the book is that all of the recipes are very easy to prepare, yet taste as good as or better than most high-fat recipes. I am a registered nurse, so I am very careful to cook healthful food at home. There are recipes for everything from breakfast and brunch dishes to lunch dinner, dessert, and holiday menus. The Herbed Lemon Chicken is one of our favorite company dishes. This week I am making the following recipes from the cookbook: Tortilla Soup, Lemon-Tarragon Chicken on Cannellini beans, Shrimp Fettuccine, Beef Spaghetti Pie Ole, and Fat Free Fudge Brownies. A lot of the dishes can be prepared ahead of time, so it's a great book for entertaining or preparing holiday meals, as well. Enjoy!

This is one of the most useful cookbooks I own.....
....and I own a lot of cookbooks! Let's face it, who WANTS to cook healthy? When you put so much time, trouble, and expense into cooking what you hope are tasty meals, it's safe to assume that anything loaded with fat and calories will be a big hit. It's not such a sure bet when you're using low-fat this, and reduced-sodium that. But when my husband's doctor ordered him to switch to a low-cholesterol diet, I had to figure something out! I started looking through my many cookbooks, and came across this one by Jeanne Jones. I have to admit, I've had it for a while, and I never had used it much before now. But once I got to really looking at it, I thought, "Hey, these sound really good....like real food!" I went through the entire book and flagged all the recipes that sounded good to me...and when I was finished, there were a LOT of flags sticking out of the book! I made three of the recipes that first week, and my husband didn't even KNOW he was eating healthy! The Baked Quesadillas and Overnight Cheese Strata were every bit as tasty as any recipe using full-fat ingredients. The Tarragon Chicken and Pasta Bake drew rave reviews, and he even took the leftovers to work the next day to nuke for lunch. There's also a great recipe for Fettucine Alfredo, which as we all know, is "Heart Attack on a Plate" in it's original form. This one used fat-free cream cheese and skim milk. Who knew they could taste so good?

The only change I make to the recipes is to add a bit of salt. Since this is technically a "healthy" cookbook, not just low-fat, the author tends to skimp on salt. Since we don't need to do that, I go ahead a add just a bit, but if you are on a low-sodium diet, then the recipes would be just right for you. Next up on the menu....Chile Rellenos Casserole! Or will it be Ham & Cheese Calzone? Hmmmm.....

What's Going On?
When the Bailey School Kids go to Burger Doodle, they meet a worker who is strange. Her name is Scout. But when Carey tells about her new neighborhood, Scout says she wants to move into Carey's neighborhood!

But that's surprising. That's where the graveyard is. Is this ice cream scooper a ghoul? The Bailey School Kids must find out! But will Operation Eddie work? Find out!

double scoop of fun
Can Bailey School possibly get any weirder?? Well, funny you should ask...

Our small band of 3rd graders is presented with one of their newest run-ins with the strange and supernatural. Out on a trip to the Burger Doodle, they run into a new counter worker, Scout. In addition to having an odd name, Scout is an odd character! First off, her skin is ashen white, she wears a hooded black sweatshirt, and her eyes are blood red!! Speaking of blood red, what's that weird, thick red syrup she's always putting on her own ice cream? It looks a lot like... like blood!

It doesn't take long for the Bailey Kids to begin to wonder about her and her strange way of almost GLIDING over the tiles. Besides, she doesn't ever laugh or even crack a smile. It's not long before someone suggests that she might be a ghoul: an undead creature in the service of a vampire who is in search of new places for their vampire masters to live. When the Kids find out that Ms. Jeepers, their vampire teacher, is thinking of having her family move to Bailey City, they decide that action must be taken or else the city will be overrun by vampires!! One for a teacher is bad enough!

This is the 31st installment in the Bailey School Kids series and is a bit creepier than some of the others in the series. It's still got all the elements of the other books, a wisecracking Eddie who refuses to believe that any of these weird folk are anything but that-- just weird, not supernatural, a fast pace and fun plot.

I've reviewed a number of the books in the series and am finding them quite addicting. They're fast reads for beginning-to-intermediate readers (though an adult will likely finish them in less than half an hour), and the language is simple and fun. I often recommend this series for students & children who are not very interested in reading because the pace is fast, the plot is simple, and they're generally a lot of fun to read. So, scoop yourself out some vanilla and settle in with the Bailey Kids in this installment!

I would give this book BIG five stars.
I would give this book Big five stars beacause it tells what are they going to do to solve the mysteries and what's going on. I liked it because they give details about how they look like. I would compare this with Vacation Under The Volcano but I like Volcation Under the Volcano better because it has magic. I would recommend this book to a friend because in the book they try to figure out what is going on.

Great Book
This fabulous book is funny and exiting. Its well writen and its a great plot. I loved this Book!

This book is hilariously funny and suspensful.
I am a mother and a school teacher. And, this book as well as other of the "Bailey City Monster" and "The Bailey School Kids", books are great for all ages. I have shared these books with others and given many away as gifts to friends and family. When you read these books, you can think of students that you know and children who remind you of each of the characters. I just wish that I knew where I could get a brooch like Mrs. Jeepers!

Read this book!!!
This was a great book!! Sierra gets to go to California to see her friends! Things start getting turned upside down when Tawni decides t0o go with her. Because of her beatiful looks, Tawni seems to be getting quite a lot of attenion, esecially from a guy named Jeremy. Will Sierra conquer her jealousy and enjoy her trip? You need to read this book!

GREAT!
I loved this book especially since I've read the Christy Miller books. I think it was awesome how Doug proposes to Tracy and Todd & Christy get to be the best man and maid of honor. I really identified with Sierra in this book. I can understand how she felt left out like that and jealous of her sister. She realises that she needs to pray about her relationship with her sister and let God take over it.

This book is soo cool and encouraging!! Definitely neato!!
It's so neato. It's such a happy book, yeah!!! It is really exciting, esp. if you've read the Christy Miller books before. It's just so hard to describe in words. I just know I really enjoyed it sooo much. It encouraged me in my walk with God!!! I think it's the best of all the Sierra Jensen books. okily dokily!! well, hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!!!:0)

Best book on later model Deere's
This is a great book on late model John Deere equipment from around the world. It is filled with color photos. It describes equipment chronologically and by type. Not only does it discuss agricultural equipment but it covers construction and lawn and garden equipment. There are charts on equipment statistics and it has a large section on the "New Generation of Power". If you are interested in later model Deeres, then I highly recommend this book.

BEST BOOK EVER!!!
If you are into John Deere during these years, this is the book to have. Awesome. I want to run out and paint my car green.

Macmillan excells.
Don Macmillan has produced a work of art. He has taken archieve and personal knowledge and combined them to produce a masterpiece of tractor and equiptment history.

What's Going On?
Do phantoms drive sports cars? Find out!

Mrs. Jeepers is taking her class to the opera. They see a sport car that is really cool. In the opera, they meet a violin player who doesn't like Eddie very much. But this guy is driving the sport car!

They try to get a ride in it, but this guy won't. Is this guy a phantom? They have to find out. How about having the opera singer who really likes Erik (the violin player) have a person who adores her. But can they do this before the intermission is over?

Fun Read
This book is really great. Its kind of like the phantom of the opera but with a more exiting twist

It is great.
I have read almost all the Bailey School Kids books and this is one of the best. The book relly discribes what is going on.

Ths is the book you need to stop for good!
This book is simple and to the point. Smoking is an addiction and thats what the book focuses on. After reading this book (in just a couple hours) I've quit smoking. It's a great feeling to have your eyes opened!

Yes! You Can Stop Smoking Even If You Don't Want to
This has to be the best book out there for stopping smoking and staying stopped. David Jones addresses smoking as an addiction and treats the person, not the cigarette. He addresses the proper way to withdraw along with healthy coping skills to become and stay a non-smoker. I am thankful for this book.

This book really worked for me!
I honestly had no plans to quit smoking when I found this book, I was looking for yoga books at the library... I thought the title was interesting and checked this out instead. I read the book and took action where it gave exercies and instructions, and by the time I got to the last page I stopped smoking! I also used an Anthony Robbins NLP technique with this book to aid in making smoking seem horribly disgusting (which it is.) I quit eleven months ago and have had ZERO cravings. One caveat, you will only get out of this book what you put into it!!

Don't Drown in the Carpool

Parents Need Fun, too!
As Dr. B says it right on Page 1: "Healthy parent-child relationships don't just happen, they are created. Like any worthwhile endeavor, raising responsible & responsive children requires dedication, hard work & a willingness to experiment with creative approaches to parenting challenges."

Instead of simply bossing your kids about, throwing as many orders at them as they throw tantrums at you, try a little cooperation - you'll be as surprised as they with the results!

This easy-to-read, enjoyable little book, explains the ins & outs of the impasses parents get into with their children, & then gives you lifelines of ideas & scripts with which you can transform the quality of your relationships with your spouse, as well as your kids.

Worth every penny you spend. I highly recommend you give copies to every parent you know who is underwhelmed by the joy of parenting, overwhelmed by their ratpack, or looking forward, with either dread or exhilaration, to becoming parents.

An Exceptional Parenting Tool
This highly entertaining book deals thoughtfully with the most precious of relationships - that of parents and children. It provides realistic approaches to improving family communication, cooperation and harmony. Dr. Berkowitz presents valuable insights and advice in a straightforward yet humorous fashion; his techniques are appropriate for dealing with children ages toddlerhood through adolescence. Dr. Berkowitz's tools can be effectively introduced into any family, helping families to modify their own personal style, while retaining their own special uniqueness -- unlike many parenting books which dictate the latest current "parenting fad".

Okay, so I loved the book. But what really counts is this: I have used several of Dr. Berkowitz's approaches with my own children, ages 3 and 5 years. Results: successful cooperation (with some surprised looks on their little faces!). My 3 year old daughter has even begun anticipating my intentions and will repeat something I have previously said to her (that came straight from Dr. B's book), before I get a chance to say it! She smiles knowingly and is proud that she can sometimes be responsible for her own self-discipline.

I highly recommend this book to parents, grandparents and to all of those who give care to children.
