Allen's style is disarmingly simple, yet sophisticated. He makes his points (which are many and profound) with a few words as possible. He implies, he infers...and he leaves it to the reader to connect the dots.
When I was finished reading the book,I felt as if I had read a long, lyrical poem.
I have to admit I shed a couple of tears at various places in the book.
I recommend this book for holiday reading...and inspirational reading throughout the year.
I couldn't put the book down...I highly recommend it.
But when I was finsihed I had a greater appreciation for my family, for life, and for the blessings of service...Yeah...all from this little book.
I'm going to read this book every Christmas from now on. And I highly recommend it to one and all.
The segration of ages was disturbing to us because of what we were seeing happen. We couldn't put a finger on it, but something didn't feel right.
After reading this book, we were so encouraged! Most people didn't understand what we tried to explain to them because they had never felt like anything was wrong with the current way of doing things. And unfortunately, most still don't.
This book clearly lays out the very things we had been trying to understand, and gives great biblical insight into why we need to become churches that are uniting families, and not pulling them away from each other.
I could never even begin to explain how much reading this book meant to us, or how much it taught us. Our prayer now, is that someone, somewhere in our community will be receptive to the ideas in the book, and desire to become a church that doesn't segregate, but joins families together in worship and learning.
Eric Wallace has written a tremendous book that I hope you will read!
It was with such relief that we read this book. Churches need to support the role of the families, and families in turn need to support the church. When these two are working to build each other up, a beautiful relationship that doesn't pull the family away from each other, but toward each other will result.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book to any family, household and pastor that senses a need for a different kind of balance between church and home, one that brings the family together AND stimulates the life of their church, all while eliminating segregation between the ages and encourages biblical roles and responsibilities.

Maybe it relates to the fact that I would have paid $50,000 to him and the 10 other experts that have literally super-charged my business and increased profits. And at that price, it would have been a steal.
Or maybe the $50,000 references what average business owners can add to their annual profits after listening. I know in my case, $50,000 would be a low estimate for the increase in business I expect over the course of the next year as a direct result of listening to this course.
Whatever the reasoning behind the title, in my opinion this is material that every person running or thinking of starting a business should own. It delivers essential business and marketing information (some of which I've never heard before but works almost like magic), and it spoon feeds it to you in such a way that you not only completely understand it, but you're excited and can't wait to start applying it to your business immediately.
I've had many nights where I've only grabbed a few eyefuls of sleep since owning this. But I want to thank Drew Eric for giving me the information and motivation to get in and do something that's responsible for literally putting more money in my pocket while making it fun.

Those were my thoughts as I read his captivating ad for The $50,000 Business Makeover Marathon. I was spell bound. And you will be too.
Being an adventureous sort, as all entrepeneurs are, I decided to take the plunge and purchase it. You know what? It was everything he said it would be, and more!
Drew, if you read this, thank you. We may never meet but you have changed my life and business.
After listening and putting into action many of the tips(lessons, really) I have seen an amazing change in my professional and personal affairs.
I own six other tape programs on sales and marketing and this one is unique. Get it now. While you're thinking about it.
Better hurry. Your competition may already have this.
Yours in Success,

THESE tapes, however, are fantastic. The speakers are all interesting to listen to - not boring. No fluff. Recorded in a studio, so you can ALWAYS hear the speakers. The topics will be valuable to any small to medium size busines owner or marketing executive who wants to expand and grow their business.
You may have heard SOME of this material before, but you haven't heard ALL of it -- and it's all in one powerful package.
IMHO, it's worth a listen -- again and again.

This book has it all...brief entries, articles, essays, maps, tables, bibliographies, thorough cross-references and a big-time index. If you want to find out facts about political, economic, social and cultural history, editors Eric Foner & John Garraty do a splendid job. Moreover, the first-class collection of nearly four hundred contributions from eminent scholars, biographers and journalists is very impressive.
Name it...James Monroe (fifth president of the United States), Marilyn Monroe, The Monroe Doctrine...its all there. This book is great to have around during crunch time on homework. It is reliable and easy to use. Its big and heavy and not easy to carry around but when it comes to your kid's education...its worth its weight in gold.
For example, I recently watched a biography of Frederick Douglass, the 19th century abolitionist. That revitalized my interest in the fiery orator and the abolitionist movement. The Reader's Companion contains a concise, yet in-depth profile that emphasizes Douglass' insights into the roots and consequences of racism in the 19th century.
This hefty reference work, featuring the work of respected scholars should be used by anyone enrolled in a United States History course, professional historians, and amateur historians.
There is also enough balance that you can easily detect the biases of various writers.

"A Comprehensive Survey For The Concerned Citizen", and that
is no idle boast. This book tells the reader just about
everything about chemical and biological warfare that he or
she might want to know, to a level of knowledge appropriate
to the intelligent layperson. It provides chapters on
historical background, chemical and biological weapons
technology, and policy issues.
In fact, if I have any criticism of this book, it may be
that it is a bit too much of a good thing. It might have
been a bit more focused and readable if cut to half its
length, and it also comes across almost as a "handbook"
on the subject in terms of detail, style, and organization.
It certainly not written in a novelistic style, and it
is not exactly a casual read, though by no means
impenetrable either or tiresomely long.
That's just a warning to readers about what they're biting
off on if they pick up this book. Mr. Croddy spells out in
the subtitle that this is a "comprehensive survey" and, yep,
it's written in the form of a survey, and it is as
comprehensive as possible and then some. It meets its goals
very well, and if you're looking for the true straight dope
on this subject and a good reference work, look no farther
because I can't imagine you could find better material
on the subject than this.
I have to admit Mr. Croddy really did his homework. A
particular eye-opener was the picture of the pre-WWII gas
mask designed for children by Disney, in the form of Mickey
Mouse's head. I had to admit it was a clever way to get
small children to put on a gas mask, in fact you might have
trouble persuading them to take it off, but it had a certain
grotesque black humor to it as well.
By the way, I have written up some notes on this book
and others on chemical and biological warfare. You might find
them useful before going onto something more serious like this.
Drop me a line if you're interested.

The stories themselves? Some make you think. Some make you wonder. All make you remember.
The most impact is provided by the independent, i.e. non-superhero, writers who express what they went through with pictures and words. From the initial shock to the lingering malaise, the complete cycle is expressed. Reading this book brought back those feelings in me and, even though my emotions were swelling up, I kept reading. This event is now part of our collective experience and we are forever affected by it.
I recommend reading through when you need some perspective on what's important in life. Enjoy life, tell your friends and family that you love them because you never know when it may end.
This review doesn't get too into the content of the book but the impact that it had. As for me, that's the sign of a good read.
