Fun read if you speak strine!
Linda Jaivin is in fine form with this book about three teenage aliens who are out to have fun. How do you have fun? Sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. If you can cope with the very Australian comments (I read the Aussie version of the book, having J. Minton mentioned worries me, it may have been bowderized) and like a good laugh this is the book for you.

Brilliant Fiction!
I was extremely impressed by this book. I`ve read it more than twice now. It is very up to date with the times and I couldn`t put it down. It`s definately a very different alternative to what`s on the market at the moment and Linda Jaivin has an unusually unique writing style. An advisable read for the happening erotic fiction reader.

The title says it all: Go get it!
Funniest book I've read since Hitchikers Guide to The Universe! Linda Jaivin has a great sence of humour and a brilliant eye for details. If you're in to sex, drugs, rock'n'roll and just simply love a good laught, then there really is no doubt. Go get it!

More disjointed stories than a cohesive novel.......
I had such high hopes for this book. I really wanted to like it. Unfortunately, it didn't happen! The story of 4 Australian women has it's share of very erotic prose. The combination of food and sex results in a feast for the senses. However, those parts in between are long and often dull. I found the book to be more separate vignettes with threads that only occasionally tied each chapter together, rather than a flowing piece of fiction. Still, some of the juicier parts are worth the read....just skip the rest!

A taste of forbidden fruit!
Eat Me isn't your typical women's erotica -- it is a novel full of intelligent dialogue and sharp wit. The novel's about four friends from Sydney -- Phillipa, Helen, Julia and Chantal -- who get together to dish out juicy details of their latest romantic exploits. The stories are rather explicit and sensuous. However, will they continue to open up about their fantasies and exquisite tales when Phillipa tells them that she's writing an erotic novel?

Eat Me is like the forbidden fruit -- impossible to resist. This is one of the most original novels I have read in a long time. The vignettes within the novel are provocative and steamy. Jaivin is a wonderful writer of said genre and I look forward to reading more of her work...

The Thinking Girl's Erotica
I read this in the Houston airport, the cover and title displayed proudly, shocking the passersby, as I laughed until tears rolled down my face. From the first chapter, this book sucks you in, so to speak, and takes you on a hilarious ride. I could see a little of myself and my friends in each of the characters in this book. It's definitely not to be disregarded as "just porn" - it's well-written, the characters are nicely developed, and there are many valid philosophical issues raised throughout, especially from Helen, the Women's Studies teacher. Nice twist at the end, too. Read this book!
