Superior education and instruction reference.
Being a medical transcription practictioner, supervisor and educator, I would like to encourage everyone who is serious about medical transcription as a career to invest in this manual. The AAMT is a trendsetter and an asset to any transcriptionist's library. User friendly and extremely informative for both the student and experienced. It is even helpful when educating the physician, helps when you have it in print!!

The best reference for medical transcriptionists.
Since I am new at transcription, I needed a great reference book to be at my side. This book is great because its sections are in alphabetical order - if you need to find out the correct spelling for "mid portion" you simply turn to the "M" section, and there is "mid" and the different and correct uses for the word. I have used this book frequently and I haven't seen a book for transcription that has been this useful.

Still and again.......insightful
Hurley and Donson have done it again, producing and insightful and evolutionary view of personality type that rises above the static interpretation of the types offered by other authors. With practical suggestions for the development of each type, Hurley and Donson take the Enneagram to a new level and offer the reader a literal shock point through which one can come into closer contact with their own essential nature. This is a must read for longtime and new students to the Enneagram. It is an introduction to the Enneagram as it should be used.

Personal and Relational Awareness
"Discover Your Soul Potential" does a good job of integrating psychology and spirituality in a clear, concise format for personality / essence awareness which can lead to individual and relational knowledge, development and transformation. The author's add a very personal touch in the Introduction by sharing their own stories. While there is disagreement among Enneagram authors as to which types are in which centers, this book provides useful information as to the centers from a macro perspective. It's up to the individual which center fits best, regardless of the 9 types. Overall, a keeper! One that you would want to include in your self-discovery / personal growth library.

Powerful Insights
Hurley and Donson's book offers an eye-opening opportunity to discover the most intimate details of one's personality. The information about my "type" was so accurate I felt the authors must have known me all my life! Their simple, yet gentle, approach to discussing core strengths and potential obstacles is very powerful. I recommend this book to anyone who truly wants to grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually!

No matter what your type or number the insight shared around how the repressed center plays a major role in your suffering, learning and transformation as a soul is essential. This book provides a deep revelation regarding how wounding and healing are tied together in understanding the process of our being. It brings forth the grounding that it is in relationship we are wounded and in relationship we can be healed. This book provides the distinctions that allows the soul to look into our wounds and experience the blessing that awaits as we become conscious of our complusion and build a new awareness as an observer. A good book for either the experienced Enneagram student or as an introduction to the "real work at hand" using the Enneagram.
