Excellent choice for young artist. Boys love the monsters
My 8 year old son choose this book at a school book fair. He has been drawing ever since. As an artist myself I was impressed to see the book demonstrate different technical aspects of drawing such as texturing, tracing, shadowing and attention to detail. The comic book like illustrations make it a fun read for the school age child. Very simple instructions help the reader see how the drawing comes together. Many secret tricks on how to acheive various effects such as transparent people make it a especially interesting! A big hit with elementary school boys. My son is enjoying it so much I'm ordering one for my Nephew.

A "must" for anyone buying a house
I picked this book up at the bookstore, mostly because it looked a lot less intimidating than the other books on buying a home (where's the cover for this book, Amazon?). It was so smart, so insightful, and so darn funny that I've ordered several more for my friends who are looking to buy. The author is a long-time mortgage lender who has seen just about everything, and offers advice from the trenches. If you want to own, not rent, buy this amazing book.

Pragmatic approach to microwave research and development.
This book presented a pragmatic approach to microwave research and development. Given the end of cold war and less focus on future engery supplies. It results in less funding in this field and hence the importance of applying microwave technology into daily and commercial use and the importance of this book.

A children's morality story for ages about 5-8
A delightful children's book for ages about 5-8. The book follows story of the rather unsociable Squire Squirrel as he learns the value of friendship. My kids grew up on it and are looking for a copy for their children!

Very timely read.
Very timely read on the current state of affairs in the North
American church. A willingness is needed, on the part of all believers, to
embrace new vision and to also take their rightful place in the Kingdom
rather than just sitting back and watching the show.

And All Thru the House
Should be advertised as a book for children. Not expected of McBain. Only 40 pages most of which are drawings! What a disappointment as have read and enjoyed nearly everything McBain/Hunter has written. If had bought new would request refund.

And All Through The House by Ed McBain
It has been said so many times before by far better persons than I, but Ed McBain is the hands down best writer of the police procedural. "And All Through The House" continues the terrific 87th Precinct series with the entire story taking place in the squadroom on Christmas Eve. Reading this book is like visiting with old friends. The writing is conversational yet always electric and always Ed McBain. Packaged in an attractive slipcover and sprinkled with line drawings throughout, it is a perfect book to cozy up with by the fire. Long live McBain and the 87th Precinct!

Includes lots of stories. Lacks strategy.
Would not recommend for the novice investor. Lacks the guidance that is needed in the beginning of real estate investment. Not informative at all.

Save your money
I picked this book up because I liked the title. House flipping for fun and profit. This is what I do for a living and have been very successful at it. I believe that you get what you pay for. $11.96 for the book and $11.96 worth of useful information, and that is being very generous. If my daughter hadn't accidentally spilled grape juice on the book, I would ask for my money back.

Enjoyable Reading
I found this book extremely helpful in getting started in real estate investment. It included helpful tips and the chapters flowed together in a comprehensive guide. Definitely worth the money. I have spent more $$ on other books that were nowhere near as helpful. I highly recommend this to other people who are interested in getting started in flipping properties. As you can tell from his successful real estate investing, he obviously practices what he preaches. This book isn't meant to be a complete guide to real estate investing. You need to do your own homework, too, which the other reviewers obviously have not done.
