You CAN judge this book by its cover!
Finally, a handbook that offers sage advice and realistic strategies
for overcoming some of the common client/server glitches that crop
up during application development.

It is not the normal overloaded, technical tome, that you later call a 'reference'
as it collects dust on the shelf. This is the 'guide' you should use to
increase your OPO skills, and assist fellow developers.

The only book you will need for using OPOv2
This book is one the best technical book I have ever read, Oracle or not.

Coming from a Oracle DBA background, I really appreciate the effort the authors had put into in maintaining data integrity, etc.

Unlike other database front-end tool books, this book really takes pain to remind readers that the front-end does nothing without a sound usage of the underlying data.

The examples in the book are excellent. They are all easy to follow and have advanced usage of OPO techniques, especially the object-oriented programming part.

As the book title implies, this is the book to get if you wanna be a OPO master

Storyline ....
Since Amazon didn't post an editorial review, here's the description from the back of the book to help you decide if this book is for you: "Just how far would a money-loving freesailer go to find the master key to every planet in the galaxy? And how would he get back? ... when freesailer, plunderer James Oregas and his beautiful business partner set out to bilk the unsuspecting denizens of the backwater planet Llango ... it got complicated ... when Jamas, who knew the ins and out of stargates was doublecrossed and had to disappear -- and fast, it moved into high gear ... when Jamas landed on Prime -- a repository planet of galactic history -- and learned of a mysterious lost race that held the master key to all the stargates for all the worlds ... when Jamas himself decided to scour the galaxy, looking for that long-lost race, following a trail that would lead him to power beyond his wildest dreams -- if he somehow managed to stay alive!"

Clear, inspiring, usable book for writers and teachers.
George Ella Lyon has been inspiring writers and teachers for years. Her writing exercises and her lyrical way of talking about writing keep her in demand as a workshop leader and speaker at schools. At last we have this book! I have used her exercises for years in my writing workshops, always with results that far exceed the writing that students have have done up to that point. Those same exercises have led me into writing poems I didn't know were waiting to be written. No one is better at evoking the voices of real people or helping a new writer really see what she is trying to get on paper than Lyon. The exercises in this book are wonderful, but a close reading of Lyon's poems is perhaps the most rewarding part of Where I'm From writers and teachers alike. Highly recommended.

I challenge you Will Wong
I challenge you Mr. Will Wong to a duel. Ill slice you and dice you with my knife.

This Book ain't my good buddy!
In this world of endless struggle and crisis, you need a book that would get you along in the world of accounting. Unfortunately, this book is a disappointment to the GAAP. Like my good buddies said, the author did not organize the topics well...this and that mumbo-jumbo. I have to teach it to my students my own way. Right now we only use the book for the questions. The questions are so hard too for my students. Everytime the homeworks are due, people come to me and bug me. People like...well..I don't wanna mention names here. In conclusion, people of the world unite to overthrow this book from academic acceptance it currently enjoys and on to the pile of rubble.

Stay away from this book
This book talks about accounting in a limited way. Whereas it says that it aims to present accounting to the reader regardless of his/her background, the book certainly fails to do so. Organization of information is poorly executed, and lack of depth and non-randomization of scenarios make the readers' perspective quite limited.
