This is the perfect beginners bible story book for preschool children thru 6-7 years old. The stories are short and to the point and on a level they can understand, while holding their attention. The stories are short enough that it would make a nice bedtime story book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that wants young children to learn about God and the Bible.

I can't think of a better way to educate children about god than throught the eyes of another child. Each page has a detailed story from the bible detailing the chapters from the bible in story form, also illustrated by children all over the world. Each story is written so well for children to remember the stories of the bible and to find them interesting and educational. This book also shows how different children view the bible in differnet parts of the world. I have enjoyed this book as much as the children in my CCD class and they can't wait for the next story to be read. I would highly recommend this story bible for children of your own or to give as a gift. I guarantee it will be treasured. God Bless

I am a CCD teacher and I read this book to my 1st grade class and they can't keep their eyes off the book and they remember the stories and can't wait for me to read the next one. It is written in story form so children can easily understand and remember the stories of the bible. I would highly recommend this book and I think you will enjoy it as much as the children.

This book was wonderful. My boyfriend bought it for me for a gift, and I am not the "go to church everyweek" girl, by far, but it was still a great book. In the future, I plan to buy these type of books as gift. Definitely a great buy!!

I picked this book up for my kids, but I will be keeping this in my own library! There are familiar songs and fingerplays and poems that are beautifully illustrated. There are also some not-so-familiar poems that are great too!

Mr. Young has written a beautiful example of the grandeur and life that is ours in Christ. It's a living, breathing life, not boring, stuffy or stagnant as some may picture when thinking of being a Christian. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and hope to share it with many people.

I am trying to teach my younger brothers spanish and this adorable Bible is the perfect way. They love the pictures and the great stories.

I have twin 23month old boys. These songs and rhymes have been great for them. It's one of there favorite books, and they carry it around the house most of the time. It's precious to hold the book, point to the pictures, sing and do the hand motions. It's also been great when we're out on walks in the stroller, for me to sing and to see them start the hand motions associated with the various songs. I have loved it.

The Kendalls book is life changing in many ways. You learn more about yourself, while learning how to speak to your mate. Once you see that you aren't a weirdo, or that you married one, a whole new life awaits you and your spouse. By applying what you learn from this book, even a marriage beyond hope can be restored, to better than what it was! This book is intriguing, easy to read, and very detailed. You will laugh at yourself, and learn to appreciate others. Even if you aren't married, they have tools to assist you in communicating to your family and co-workers. If you aren't a better person and become a better communicator by the time you have finished this book, you need to read the book again!

Wow! What a wonderful book for kids . . . and adults! For the first time, I'm finally beginning to connect the Bible and world history in a meaningful way. I never knew that popcorn was around when Noah was on the ark, that Jesus ate cookies and ice cream as a child, or that Daniel was a contemporary of Aesop and his fables. This book helps me and my children put the Bible in its world context and, therefore, to understand many of the customs and habits of people in the Bible. An enlightening experience! Great for homeschoolers, Sunday school teachers, private school teachers, and kids of all ages. Get it!

I got this book when my son was around 2 years old. He would never sit through it. It is a story and requires some time to read. At 2 yrs old he did not have time for it. Unlike all his other Barney books, this one is an actual story and is not one sentence or word per page. Now, he is almost 4 and the book is a favorite. He loves to hear the story of Barney and his friend.

We have 5 different bibles at home for the 2-7 crowd. This is the best one of the lot. It gives more detail without being hard to understand. The questions after each story are great for the older kids. It also actually says that Jesus DIED on the cross for us. If you want a bible for 2-7 year olds that actually has some meat to it, this is the one for you.
