It's a great story with well developed characters smooth page turning suspense tale. Hilton has delivered a wonderful revival of a world war story that captivates the reader in the first pages and just pulls you through to the end. We are awaiting his next story.

This is an entertaining easy read - something to fill the time between New York to L.A. The characters are well drawn but not overdone. A great ending.

Years ago the pursuit and sinking of the Graf Spee was an exciting event in WWII history. Hilton has managed to renew this excitement and add to it with a fast paced and well researched novel. Those readers of his other novels will continue to appreciate the unique way he combines history and suspense.
