This is a very good book on queuing theory and applications. I have read or looked at dozens of similar books, but find this to be one of the best. ...

For quantification of models, queuing theory is one of the oldest variants, used for simple first feelings with the processes. This book provides the theory of random arrive processes, probability and all kind of queues. The reader is introduced in single queues like m/m/1 and learns how to calculate and forecast the most important statistics as a start. Later on more complex queue systems are explained in detail all with graphs, simple formulas to calculate and enough text to understand the formulas and steps of the writer. At the moment the theory of the single queues cannot solve the problem, the writer uses some PASCAL procedures. At that moment it looks more like a black box to me, but I am sure the writer knows what he is doing!

This is a wonderful book written by a wonderful person. Andrea Hill is my aunt... but even so this book is very helpful. She has tons of experience and I wish there were more books out there like this.

Wow, what a fantastic book ! I read it from start to finish, nonstop. I couldn't put it down ! The suspense and fear of the unknown just grabbed me, and pulled me write in.

Wow....I am so in love with this book !! Once I started to read it, I couldn't put it down. The suspense and mystique grabbed a hold of me, and just wouldn't let me go until I got to the end. My favorite part was.....Well, you'll just have to read it....I'm not giving anything away.

I've found my "Jewel in the Desert" as far as mental golf instruction. I've played professional golf on the mini-tours for 3 years. I knew there was something missing from my game. I would play "timid and restricted" in tournaments, but would play great with my friends at home. After listening to the tapes, and working with Mike Allen I've been able to play "loose and fearless" by "Accessing the Zone" whenever I want!! Thank you for making these tapes.

I began reading the Dinoverse series this summer as part of a children's literature course at college. I didn't think they would hold my attention, being juvenile literature...boy was I wrong! The course ended two months ago, but when I found this book, the fifth in the series, I had to read it! My hat is off to author Scott Ciencin, whose work reminds me of my own childhood fantasies of dinosaurs brought to life. I work in a bookstore, and often recommend these titles to parents, looking for books that their sons might enjoy. These are great books for boys, jam-packed with adventure and imagination. I highly recommend the entire series! Can't wait to read the next book when it comes out in November!

This is an execellent read! If you've ever thought about what it would be like to be a dinosaur, then this series is for you. If you are already familliar with Dinoverse,then expect another romp through time with Bertram and some new faces. Each chapter ends in a cliffhanger, and the end of the book will leave you wanting to get your "claws" on the next. I recommend this to everyone, adults and children alike!

this book surprisingly combines good introduction to databases in general and to Borland's DBMS. Very good for all experienced programmers who want to use databases in their own programs.

There are few authors write about Database Development. So it's too hard to find the book like this. I needed and bought the book but got a little useful.The reader's feeling, for sure,is not good. So the author must know their feeling. It's you. :)

This is an excelent book. When I was growing up, I hated to read; but when I came accross this book in the school library and got started reading it, I just couldn't put it down. I have been a fan of book reading ever since. I highly recommend this book.

First of all, this is the very book that fostered my love of reading. I read this book in second grade...my first "real" novel. I fell in love on the spot. I cannot count the number of times I checked out this book from my school library...but each time I read it was more rewarding than the next. Elizabeth Starr Hill takes the reader on a fantastical journey through the exciting life of a young girl and her uncle. Their adventures weave an entertaining tale of comedy, warmth and excitement. I recommend this book to anyone, especially children just embarking on the lifelong voyage of reading enjoyment. MASTER MIKE AND THE MIRACLE MAID is Fantasy Fiction at its best, and it is such a pity it is out of print. I can only hope to one day own a copy of my own.

A wonderful book for those that either remember the Cherry Hill area from a bygone time, or those that wish to see what their area was like before they were born. This book stays on topic, is concise and is full of photographs that remind those that remember of a time that Cherry Hill rivaled Philadelphia, Atlantic City and other Mega attraction areas. The photos and narrative bring back the memories and sights that can not be found elsewhere.
