This Series Kicks Bootey
This trilgy of stories is the reason I love to read so much! I remeber back in 7th grade, I picked this book up on a whim, and I couldn't put the darn thing down until I read every single word! I highly recommed this one, as well as the other two in the series.

GREAT BOOK! Get this where ever you can!
Walking through my local bookstore one afternoon in December (lots of years ago) I found this book on a dusty old shelf.. and decided to buy it.. This normally isn't the kind of book I would grab but I was delightfully suprised.. I couldn't put this book down.. I read the whole book in 48 hours.. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone wanting to read a suspenseful novel without blood and gore.. This book will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. I haven't read the 2nd or 3rd in this series but I am expecting them soon. . . . .

The Suspense Keeper
Joanna just moved to live with her father in a new place where she doesn't know anyone. When she starts to fit in with a certain group she learns that this group has a secret. While falling in love with Penn, a member of the group, she doesn't realize how much trouble she is getting herself into until it is too late and she already knows their deep and dark secret.

Great continuation.
Joanna has now discovered what really happened to Laurie. But it's even more complicated then it seems. She is growing closer to Penn, but she doesn't even know if he's told her all her secrets. And one of the group, Casey, is blackmailing the others. Stephen, Laurie's killer, is about to snap. Joanna can only pray Casey isn't his next victim. There was a lot of suspense in this book, but it's probably been wrongly labeled as a horror story. It's more mystery/suspense.

The Secret that NEEDS to be told!
Janice Harrell keeps up her pace with book 2 "The Betrayal". You become more involved with Joanna and Penn, digging deeper and deeper into the secret that Penn and his group of friends share. Now its time to tell Joanna about it, and now she's apart of it. This book is very suspenseful and keeps you guessing...of course another cliff-hanger ending leaves you to track down #3 "The Escape" (I hope to find the last one in my local library!)

Suspenseful
This book was one of the best I have ever read. I can't wait to see what happens in the last one. It has a weird change of events that keeps you interested.

McDonald blows 'em all away
This second edition of VOM was terrific. A wonderful selection of many Michigander talents. I was especially impressed by "Pie," a truly inspiring poem by Molly McDonald. She's one to look out for in the future. Three apples are enough for me!

FINALIST FOR THE 2000 GREAT LAKES BOOK AWARD!
The poetry in this edition is especially strong this year, butdon't miss the short stories! The next Voices of Michigan mightpossibly be a children's volume...

Like a sunny day on Mackinac Island
I am honored to be one of the authors in this volume, and so had planned to purchase it anyway, but I have been exceptionally pleased with the quality of the book and its contents. It is beautifully made with a stunning variety of fiction, nonfiction and poetry by writers with ties to Michigan. Many of the writings speak of Michigan and bring back wonderful memories. Others display the writing talent from all over the state. Thanks Jane and all for putting this together!

Starts up another great series by Janice Harrell
Janice Harrell, author of the Vampire Twins, has written another great vampire story. Rina has spent the two hundred years since she was turned into a vampire at age 16 longing to be human once again. Her love for James, a human boy, only serves to make this longing stronger. Will Rina regain her humanity? Read this exciting, romantic two book minseries to find out. Teens who like vampire and horror stories won't be dissapointed.

A great love story and thriller.
Blood Curse and Blood Spell were great romance and thriller books. I recommend them to any teenagers who love a good romance novel. Read it's great.

Awesome Book!
I loved it, I never go online and buy books, but after I read this one I had to go and get Part one and see how it all started!!! I think I have a new fav Author!

Not as good as The Vampire Twins, but still very good.
The Vampire's Love by Janice Harrell was a pretty good series, even though it wasn't as good as The Vampire Twins. However, the series was very short. I felt it could have at least been a trilogy, rather then two books. Also, the ending seemed a little neat, unlike the Vampire Twins, where the line between good and evil seemed thinner. I still reccomend this to teen horror fans.

The best from the series.
Bloodchoice was definitley the best from the Vampire Twins series, probably because it was the most emotional. Ari struggles to make the right decisions as her vampire twin, Paul, continues to kill. Her natural instinct is to protect him, despite being a human who knows right from wrong. She has to make agonizing decisions, but manages to find her own strength. I highly reccomend this series. It is supenseful, thrilling, and even emotional.

One of the best Vampire series I've read
When I first got the Vampire Twins Series, I expected it to be a ripoff of the Vampire Diaries (another four book "trilogy" by L.J. Smith). However, I was proved wrong as I started reading through them. Bloodchoice is probably my favorite out of all of them because it has the most feeling in it. The main characters (the twins, Paul and Ari Montclair) go through a lot of loss, but it has a note of a new beginning that leads into the next book. The whole saga of the Montclair twins is riviting, but I consider the third book to have the most depth and fast-paced excitement.

Love it
I wrote a letter to the author telling how much I loved this book. also because it is out of print I wanted the sequel and all the others that would have followed. I mean when I read this book I understood how Andie felt. Being a girl is hard enough without guy friends messing it up for you. I can't wait to read the next book. thank you Janice.

A great conclusion to the Vampire Twins series.
Blood Reunion was a great conclusion to the Vampire Twins series. Ari Montclair is in hiding from her twin brother, Paul, and her father, who are both vampires. She, her boyfriend Cos, and her best friend Sybil must find a way to turn Paul away from the darkness - or, if neccesary, defeat him. The ending was very sad, but it was the most realistic one possible.
