This is a classic book in the since of learning 'what' to do in mastering studying techniques. The reader will learn a method, which will enable an individual to take proper and effective note taking skills on various materials. The techniques can (and should) be applied in both a school and career setting.
Hanau's style of writing is lucid, with a flavor of humor thrown in every now and again. There is no doubt I will use 'The Study Game' for my present and future studying endeavors.

This book literally changed my life. In my third year of college, I was desperate. My writing was going downhill fast and I needed help. A friend of mine recommended this book and it changed my life. Not only did it help me organize my writing, but it succeeded in organizing my thoughts, and helping me to formulate clear, lucid arguments. Now, over 20 years later, I still cherish this little book. PLEASE reprint it! Having done my thesis on teaching writing, I can honestly say that it is clearly the most practical book out there!!!
