I highly recommend this book to any parent,family member,physician, therapist ,etc who has a child or deals w/ a child that has Arthrogryposis. This book is very informational, covers a lot about various characteristics of a child w/ AMC. This easy to read book will be and asset to anyone who reads it.

This book is written very well. I highly recommend it if you are trying to find out more about Arthrogyposis and how to treat it. It covers everything from explanations about the disability to types of corrective surgeries commonly used to ideas for splinting & bracing. It can be a little graphihc though since it has color photos of surgeries and children that are at times really involved. But it is realistic and understandable and equips you with good information. I bring it to any new therapy sessions to inform therapists and doctors who aren't familiar with AMC.

IT IS OVERWELLING TO BE TOLD YOU CHILD HAS AMC BUT AFTER READING THIS BOOK YOU WILL KNOW WHAT TO DO FOR HIM/HER. I TAKE IT TO EVERY DOCTORS APPOINTMENT AND USE THE INFORMATION IN THIS BOOK ALL THE TIME. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THIS BOOK IS WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD.

Another great another book for widows is Write from Your Heart, A Healing Grief Journal. This book lets your emotions flow onto the pages. It creates a memory journal when you are done.

Wow, it is 2001, 15 years after my Mom left this world and here I sit with technology that did not exist when she was living. I thought for kicks that I would look up her name and her last book popped up. She finished it the day before she died! She was one of the most extraordinary humans I have ever met. I hope her words continue to help those in need - they helped me!

When my husband died, a friend brought me this book. I felt the last thing I wanted was a book about widowhood. But, when I opened the cover and started reading, I knew I had found what I needed. Lynn Caine knows how it feels to lose a husband. She offers a practical and understanding approach to being a widow. I now pass this book on to other widows.

I love this book, it has become my gardening bible! If I have a question, it has the answer. It has made gardening organically much easier.
Last year was my first year to try to garden organically, and it didn't work out too well. But this year I actually know what I'm doing! I would definatly recommend it!

I really loved this book because it focused on organic methods first. Also, it goes though plant by plant and lists growth conditions, problems and many options for cures. It also goes through soil and garden development.

In the Getting started section, you will learn about preparing a site, buying the right plants, and how to making Compost Tea. The Vegetable section, not only gives you a detailed write-up on over 30 different vegetables, but tells how to get 100 pounds of tomatoes from one plant. For the do-it-yourself group, there are instructions on how to build a homemade tomato cage.

The book devotes 100 pages to growing fruits. Learn how to make an aphid trap out of a milk jug or how to propagate berry plants and fruit trees. There are detailed care and maintenance write-ups on 12 of the most common fruits & berries.

The Herb section talks about controlling invasive herbs, companion planting, and how to perform a technique called layering.

I couldn't put this book down, it's WONDERFUL! A definate read for ANY horse lover, exspecially Paso Fino horse lovers! The story is absolutely one of the BEST I've read!

If you love horses, or the Paso Fino especially you'll love this book! It's the story of a boy who falls in love with a very special Paso stallion named Danza. He and Danza become, oh, I'm not going to spoil it for you, read this book!

I loved this book. I saw my friend's sister reading it one day and desided to pick it up from the library. I love the way everyone fell into character once at the Reniassance Fair. I myself just went last weekend and everything was as told. Please at least read this book if you don't wish to buy it.

One of the best books I've ever read! Focus's on the fact that reality can really trick you. The characters are well thought out and you can really relate to them.

I first read this book when I was in elementary school. I was delighted to recently find an copy at a book sale. It's in remarkably good condition considering it's older than I am! I fondly remembered the story of a little spotted stallion who is beautifully illustrated on the cover and through out the book. Dragon's life story is told from his point of view and by humans. From his birth in the Sierra Madre mountains of Mexico, to being captured and learning to trust humans, then becoming a founding sire of a champion P.O.A. bloodline on a Dallas ranch, Dragon's story is timeless. Though there are some sad moments, Dragon's life is full of adventure and determination. I also recommend other stories about Dragon by Lynn Hall, New Day For Dragon, Dragon Defiant and Dragon's Delight.

A very sweet story about a pony named Berry. Megan's parents run a riding/training stable somewhere in England. They have become known for their ability to re-train problem horses. The story is about Megan and Berry and their special relationship. I really liked it!

Well not quite, but almost there. This book, more than most, really lays out the mindset and strategies of expert bridge players. The chapter on the "5 lines of Defense" is itself worth the price of the book, and can be used by anyone, even beginners. If you are an intermediate player, just go buy this book! If you're just starting out in bridge, read a few beginner books and then come back to this. This is an amazing book!!

The title of the Book made one wonder if there is really something common among experts. Being no expert myself, I was curious, too, to find that out. This book illustrates the fine points separating good players from experts in all aspects of the game. When I was reading the book, many deals started flowing through my mind and I realized that had I read this book earlier, I could have easily impromved my results. This book is highly recommended to all those players who want to take that final step to being called "expert".

This book has helped my overall game more than any other bridge book. I particularly benefitted from the concepts of "getting your bid in early" and the "5 lines of defense." The methodology suggested by the authors for when to play safe and when to take risk for the overtrick in match point play was also of major benefit.

I have purchased copies for 2 of my partners so my master point total can increase that much faster. I would recommend the book for any serious player, whether his/her game is match points, team, or rubber bridge.
