Please put this book back in print!!
This is a wonderful book, beautifully written, with interesting, believable characters you really care about right away. There's a strong sense of place and a totally enveloping mood; it's a book you don't want to leave once you start. I've read this book once a year for four years, and I want to buy it but it's out of print. I think that's really sad; Elissa Haden Guest is a talented writer and I hope she's still writing books.

Incredible, Beautiful Writing
This is an incredible book. I first read it when I was about 11 and have been able to read it over and over without being dissapointed. The thing that hits me the most about this book is the authors use of language and discription. Every time I read it I find myself wishing that I could live in it.

Over The Moon- A Fantastic, although hard to find, book
Over The Moon was really fabulous- but then again maybe I'm just prejudiced because I'm friends with the author's daughter and the author. Still, it was much more than what I read about on the back- I was very impressed by the used of a sort of simple, non-overwhelming feeling of the words, while it retained a great emotional value.

One of the most entertaining books ever!
I first read this book when I was a freshman in highschool. Now three years later, I enjoyed it so much I recently bought my own personal copy. Alexandrea Barns shines in her portrayl of a fourteen year old struggling from girlhood to womanhood. The relationship she has with the older man sparks the interest of any adolescent female. The story is brillantly written, completetly understandable and is easily relatable to teenagers of all kinds. This is book is an inspiration. It still follows me today!

Good Stuff!
I bought "Girl Stuff" for my twelve year old niece and she loved it! The book is full of helpful information that all girls want and need to know. It is written with pre-teens in mind but doesn't speak down to them. The smart, whimsical illustrations really create a lighthearted tone to the most awkward teen subjects.

Illustrator's Mom rates this book
This book came to my attention because my daughter, Barbara, did the illustrations. I have both a 16 year old and a 7 year old Granddaughter , we asked the older one to read the book and comment and she liked it VERY much. Thought it was very informative without talking down to the young person. The 7 year old will get a chance to read it soon.Of course we've passed the book around the family and Barbara's siblings and their spouses agreed that the illustrations were terrific and they liked the text very much. While I was reading it I took it to all my appointments and many people asked me about the book and took down the name so they could order it for their daughter, niece, granddaughter. They were all impressed with the writing as well as the pictures!

Helpful!
This book has helped me all the time! It reasures me over and over again and I don't know where I would be without it. I feel comportable reading it and it really relaxes me.
