Peegy Sue
Whoah....a better Sweet Valley High. This book was very entertaining and one of those books to be read in an hour. I cant wait for the mystery to be solved! Spike is a very cool character and the dweed rocks. It has a very realistic setting unlike Sweet Valley. Lacey is a very complex character and Raven gives it a bit of a realistic touch.
A Very Well-Written, Very Entertaining Book
This book is the first of a series of four wonderful, very-well written, very entertaining books. They take place in a high school in California (kinda reminds me of my old high school!). The highlight is the Peach Blossom Contest & Ball. Whoever wins the contest will be nicknamed Pretty Peggy Sue because that year's theme is the 50's. At the end of this book you find out which of the four contestants win the contest and who dies. (You have to wait until the end of the fourth book to find out who the killer is!) The characters are all very well developed. I love the Dweeb! He is the greatest! He adds a lot to the books!

An amazing series that is truly missed!
What a wonderful book, and what a wonderful way to introduce young adult readers to American history! Through a glitch in her computer, Ashley is swept back to the Civil War south. There she meets her ancestor Violet and also encounters a handsome soldier. Ashley keeps her wits about her and has the adventure of her life. If you can get you hand on this book or any other in the series, DO IT NOW!
old south- gone with the wind style
Ashley travels back to the day of her great great grand mother. Georgia near the Civil War. Plantations and Scarlett O'hara type adventure. Truely awesome.

One of my all-time favorite series for teens!
I absolutely adored the Swept Away series! In Love on the Range by Louise E. Powers, Tina has the chance to live in the time period she finds the most fasinating - the old American west! With the help of her friend Ashley's computer, Tina is "swept away" for an adventure in another time - a 20th century girl in 19th century America. Her adventure helps her deal with her "furture" problems, and Tina learns some important life lessons. I highly recommend this book (and the whole series for that matter!).

Another hit in this great series!
Ashley has done it again! This time she has transported herself and her friend Miranda back in time..and to the land of knights no less! Now both girls must struggle to survive their adventure, both "back in time" and in the future when they accidentally bring back a knight to the present time. Can they really help this old fashioned knight blend in to their modern day high school? If you can get a hold of this book, read on!
Great Teen Series
This book was another great book in the swept away series. In this one, Miranda and Ashley travel back in time to the time of King Arthur and his knights. And by some stroke of luck Miranda brings one of the knights back with her to the present time. It is a wonderful time travel book and series for that matter.

The Second Book of a Wonderful 4-Series Set
This is the second book a 4-series set about a high school in California that holds an annual Peach Blossom contest & ball. This particular year's theme is the 50's, so the winner is nicknamed Pretty Peggy Sue. At the end of the first book, we found out who won the contest and who died. (But I won't tell, I don't want to spoil the fun!) Most everyone is grieved and wants to find out who the murderer is. Efforts are made to find out.

Think We're Getting Closer to Solving The Murder Mystery!
This is the 3rd book of an awesome 4-book series about a murder mystery that takes place in a high school in California. Each year the school holds a Peach Blossom contest and ball. This particular year, the theme is the 50's, so the winner is nickamed Pretty Peggy Sue. Peggy Sue is murdered, and in this book we're still trying to find the murderer and his/her motive. These books are very well-written, and have very good character development. They are a lot of fun to read. I would definitely recommend them.

Wish Come True
Eileen's Goudge's Wish Come True was an excellent end to a wonderful trilogy. The three books, Stranger in Paradise, Taste of Honey and now Wish Come True are written so eloquently and demurely that the reader falls into the books and into the characters. Specifically Wish Come True goes into depth with sideline characters from earlier in the trilogy. Here we live daily with Anna and her sister's fame. We struggle alongside her as she deals with weight, fear, and love. Once this book is picked up, it won't be put down until the last sentence has been read. Beautiful, touching, moving...
Fantastic
Who could possibly think Anna would kill Monica???? Not that she doesn't deserve to after all that she has put her thru but of course you can't put down the book once you get started. Great way to start your holiday weekend by picking up a copy of this book.
Carson Springs is a great place to live and I wish there were a Tea & Sympathy near my home.
Congratulations Eileen for once again writing about the people in Carson Springs who we have all known to come and love. If you haven't read her other books go out and get them you don't know what you are missing. Pure enjoyment.

Delightful
Eileen Goudge has done it again. Just in time for the hot summer days we are having. What could be better then cooling off with a great book and continuing the saga about the people and the lives in Carson Springs.
I suggest if you have plans for the holiday weekend whether it be to stay home, fly or drive somewhere pick a copy of this book up up and pack it as you won't be disappointed.
Imagine Anna accused of murder? We all want to kill Monica and have wanted to before starting this book but to think that Anna is being accused of this crime? The book is easy, fast paced and as always full of suprises that Eileen always provides. I just wish there was a Tea and Sympathy near my house so I could stop off there for some goodies and then go home and read the book.
Its a must read for your summer enjoyment and I guarantee if you are a fan you'll love it and if not try it as you will become one after this book.
