This book changed my life
I was diagnosed as "borderline hypoglycemic" when I was 19 after have a rootbeer float at lunch. At the same time I was told that low blood sugar "usually" turns into a full blown case of diabetes and that there was no Known cure for it.

By following the basic guidelines given in this book, I learned how to control my blood sugar level, how to tell when it was getting to low, or was to high. Its all in what is eaten and how often. What you eat today, will effect how you are going to feel tomorrow. After awhile, it all became a habit.

I'm quite happy to say that almost 30 years later, I still watch the signs, symptoms, know when to eat what. And am still "borderline hypoglycemic".

This book has been very helpful with my problems
For many years I could not find an answer to my problems I experienced. I only knew that it was connected with nutrition and the book was an absolute eye opener to me. Now I feel much better having taken notice of Fredericks' advice in this book.

I would appreciate to get in touch with the autor and ask for his e-mail address or normal address, because in the New Low Blood Sugar and You book we found a mistake in the charts ( which did not relate to the page where they are described).

Too much for young readers
Since the release of the Scooby Doo movie my 3 year old daughter loves the familar brown pooch. I bought this book for me to read to her, thinking "what was the harm?" What I didn't realize was, that in this book there is no man in a mask upset at some meddling kids. There really are witches, spell books and real ghosts. I also think it is way too soon to start teaching children about the wiccan religion.(which it mentions by name). I never thought I would say this about Scooby, but this one is too intense for me and my kids.

Copy-cat book
I was disappointed with this book. It is almost exactly the same as ISBN: 0439087864, Scooby Doo and the Witches Ghost (which I think is good.) and I already have that book. A lot of the pictures in the two books are exactly the same and the story is pretty much the same. I thought this story would be a continuation of Scooby Doo and the Witches Ghost where the Hex girls got involved in some new mystery. Instead, I basically received the same book. Why buy the Hex Files copy when you can own the original? I'd also point out that the Editorial Review for this book is completely misleading. The Hex girls cast no spells on anybody. This is the original Witches Ghost story.

Fantastic!
This book is truly enjoyable for the kids, with simple words and accurate pictures/drawings, this helps the children understand the stiry better. This also helps the kids learn more words, mostly thorugh the drawings by seeing what the characters in the famous show are doing.

not anything like the TV show
I bought this for my four-year-old son who loves Scooby-Doo, but after reading this to him once, I am going to give it away. He liked it, but that's the problem. It is not at all fun and innocent like the TV show. The book contains "real" ghosts and witchcraft. Several nasty-looking girls who practice Wicca are portrayed as good and cool. I don't want my four-year-old to think Wicca is just a cool and different, but acceptable, lifestyle. The book should stick to the original format of the TV show, which is only a little scary and very innocent and fun.

The book......
My almost 4 year old son loves Scooby Doo so we have to have the books for his favorite VHS tapes we watch. He likes the book. I think it's cute too. Can't go wrong for the price.
