Food on the War Path
This is a very delightful book. Not only are the pictures well done and vibrant, but the book is composed in lively verse that kids will love. All the foods argue about who is the best. One food says kids like him best because he's sweet but Spinach says he's the best because kids need vitamins. Then Hero Sandwich comes to the rescue, providing kids with the moral that they should eat a variety of foods. Quite clever and even teaches kids a good lesson. They'll love it!

Clever rhymes & illustrations convey moral of cooperation
The Midnight Fridge uses clever rhymes and puns along with illustrations filled with sight gags to convey a lesson in cooperation. Parents will not tire of reading this book again and again -- and from my experience and that of others, that is exactly what will happen. This book truly deserves to become a classic.

Amazing
I really like this book because over the internet I was looking for info on Phil Knight and his partner. I came to Amazon.com and found the perfect book that I never knew existed.(WOW) If you like Nike you will enjoy learning the origin of creators and how the shoe industry was rocked by these two shoe pioneers.

Thanks, and please check this book out

Detailed content, wonderful photos, my 4th graders loved it!
After a field trip to the Hoover Dam, my fourth-graders used this book to further satisfy their appetite for information on the construction of, and reasons for building the Dam. The text is clearly written, very detailed, and the photographs are outstanding. The authors added a glossary, a chronology, and further reading sources to enhance an already great resource. We read this book together, but I found my students taking the book back to their seats for more. It is a great source for reports as well. I recommend it highly to both parents and teachers. It can easily be used across the curriculum.

True story of how a boyhood dream becomes a reality
Rex Bailey takes young readers to Edwards Air Force Base where he is test pilot wringing out the Air Force's secret stealth bomber. An excellent book for any child or juvenille interested in flying. It tells the story of a young boy with a dream of flying and the hard work and studying it took to make the dream a reality. A great look into the life of a real test pilot providing motivation for a young reader to set high goals and academic standards. Well written for a young child with captivating photos both in and out of the cockpit of the B-2 and other Air Force Aircraft. A great addition to any public school library.

John Lennon & Paul McCartney their magic and thier music
"John Lennon & Paul McCartney their magic and thier music" by Bruce Glassman is a great book. I found it very hard to put it down ,because it was a great reference to learn how The Beatles were formed ,by two great song writers. There is also a lot of information on were they grew up and what happend to them in their childhood. You can also find out what pushed Paul McCartney and John lennon to write the music that change the music world. So if you ever want to read a book to find out how PoP music started. I recommend that you read "John Lennon & Paul McCartney their magic and thier music."

AND HERE THEY ARE, THE BEATLES!
This is a book I would have LOVED to have owned as a child. This is a book I love NOW! Glassman does an excellent job of presenting the Beatles to a younger audience and his clear writing style compliments the intelligence of his readers.

The photographs are superb, as is the (I think) world's number one song writing duo, Lennon & McCartney, half of the world's number one band, THE BEATLES! This is such a treat to read. It's just what the doctor ordered and is just so much fun. Don't be surprised if you shake your bangs and start singing Beatle tunes.

I give this a round of thunderous applause and a hearty YEAH, YEAH, YEAH! I love it!

This book is great, has good pictures and interviews.
I couldn't put the book down. I read it from cover to cover without a single stop. Glassman did a good job at putting this one together. Of course almost anything you write about The Beatles will be great though.

Decent look at The Brothers!
The WWE put out a series of "Face To Face" books in mid 1994. This is probably the best of the bunch as it takes a look at the Steiner Brothers in and out of the ring. However, the Steiner Brothers had already departed from the WWF several months before the release of this book. It covers the Steiners short 12 month stay in the WWF. It contains great photos and rare interviews with Rick and Scott. This is a good read for fans of The Steiners and fans of there brief stay in the WWF. However only the die hard Steiners fans should look for the title, as it covers only them and isn't a very long read.

It was a great book for all Steiner fans.
