The Strange, Dark and Magical Worlds of Miles Gibson
Miles Gibson is one of the undiscovered literary treasures of the world. He will certainly become a cult figure in due time as he is like no one that you have ever read before. Each book opens into a universe that is unknown and Dancing with Mermaids, like his others, takes you into a place with which you are certainly unfamiliar and cannot quite believe. I love this writer and his black satirical view always informed by laughter.

This Man Can Write.
Mr. Romance is a book about vanity or the ways we devise to deceive ourselves. It's about family because the family is a closed society with its own rules --a hall of mirrors to the world.
Gibson writes tragedy. All of his books are tragedy dressed as farce--the struggle to make sense of a nonsensical world.

Nicely written funny little book
Just reading the first page of this little book makes you laugh "Hazel Pope was twelve years old when she first bared her buttocks for biscuits." Traces the story of a little boy who is grows up in a cafe, and how they end up in Africa. A Little bizarre at the end, but a nice book.

Makes murder seem like fun
try not to die laughin
Finally a psychopath you can empathise with!!
This is the story of William "Mackerel" Burton, just your typical English child brought up with the same problems as the rest of us. But he decides that other peoples lives are so unbarable - for them - that the least he can do is put them out of their misery! Excellent read, so dark, so macabre, so cool!
