I found this book comparable to "The Bridges of Madison County", in that it is a satisfying, compelling 'easy read' that leaves one to ponder one's own choices and paths. That book was known as a "women's book". I would hope that our men would read this one, not only to gain insight into the spiritual and intellectual thinking of women, but to learn from a woman about what gratifies her sexually.
This is the story of every woman. I recommend it whole-heartedly.

If you like erotica, you will love this book. It has beautifully written sexual scenes, one after another. But it's more than that; it's about a woman who turns her life around, making it much richer by putting sex and spirituality at the center. Lexi, the heroine, over the years, works to make these the great energizing and propelling forces of her life. As one who identified with this week's Newsweek cover story on the epidemic of working couples with children who have sidelined sex, I said to myself, "I think Lexi is on to something." I'm giving "Threads of Passion" to my husband to read on vacation-- and I think he'll really like it. Maybe you and your spouse would too.

This book describes a world that most business people do not inhabit. It is stuffy and irrelevant. Business etiquette is based on business situations that constantly evolve. There is no evidence here that the authors have any idea about the reality of the work environment. Business etiquette is not about place settings at the White House or how to address diplomats when you have them over for dinner. It about putting one's associates and guests at ease when the atmosphere is social but the agenda is business. A much better book is The Etiquette Advantage by Post.

For people that think it's only for diplomats, or that it's anti woman... I couldn't disagree more. The book shows your the formality in doing proper introductions--- people can choose to customize the intro to the situation!!! It gives you a high water mark to shoot at and no one ever complains about how formal I am in presenting one person to another.

I have recommended this book on multiple occasions. People that I admire most in social circumstances execute the fundamentals taught in this book.
