This the best book yet for down to earth answers.
Up to this point, no one has anwsered the questions that this book has. It's the greatest. Better than the doctors by far. Easy to read and gives confidence to the caregiver. I'm am so grateful someone has finally put into words all of the side effects of this disease.

A great glossy insight into the man behind the glory
1992 Formula 1 champion Nigel Mansell is one of Britain's racing legends, his duels with Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna and Nelson Piquet fresh in people's memories. Williams' wheelchair-bound boss Frank Williams writes the foreword, and the two have achieved success hand-in-hand. With the help of veteran racing author Derick Allsop, he has written his most authoritative work on his success. Sections look at his personality and life off the track, which conveys him as a classic family man, the Williams team and what made it tick, the way a race weekend works (fascinating information for all F1 fans), the drives eh has raced against (unsurprisingly his comments on his 'Gang of 4' rivals aren't always complementary) and each race individually. Derick writes a section on his 1992 championship triumph, looking at each of the races in which he emphatically achieved the dream it looked like he would be denied. A great look at a great racer.

good source
The book includes the samples of letters suitable for virtually any stage of the job search - from initial resume mailing to the post-interview follow up letters. Basically, this is what is good about the book - lots and lots of samples, with a few basic guidelines. It also includes some networking and job-hunting suggestions, but I wouldn't use this book as a single guide for job-hunting.

Simply outstanding
Ideal book for all kind of Job hunting letters, one will ever come across, the letters are simple, heartfelt and not academic and dry like written by a school boy.
Some find it novel way of writing job hunting letters.
But effective believe me.

Great Examples of Letters for Job Seekers-And Fun to Read
After a section on writing effective correspondence, this book provides models of the many letters needed in a job-seeking campaign, including 1) telling your friends about your job hunt; 2) requesting a meeting; 3) announcing your availability for part-time, temporary and consulting work; 4) substitutes for resumes; 5) targeted mailings to employment agencies; 6) respnses to want ads; 7) guidance to references and information on your achievements; 8) introductions to hiring officials you do not know; 9) preparing your prospects for a phone call; 10) a response form that makes it easy for people to reply; 11) informing people who might help you find a "hidden" job; and 12) thank you letters informing people you found a job!

This is one of the best books in the hundreds I read for possible inclusion in the bibiography of Learning A Living; A Guide to Planning Your Career and Finding A Job for People with Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder and Dyslexia by Dale S. Brown.

Excellant companion book for practice development
This book is written in an accessible and practical format. It assumes nothing but at the same time treats the reader as an intelligent participant on the journey to understanding evidence based practice.

It is up to date and I was especially impressed with the web address it gives to ensure the reader is kept abreast of any changes since publication.

It systematically explains the need and use of 'evidence', how to find it (the search advice is comprehensive and includes details such as search terms and the best search engines aswell as web addresses) how to evaluate it and also how to act on it.

All in all this book was great, and I would reccomend it to anyone involved in evidence based healthcare practice as it will guide you through the thorniest problems.

Excellent Introductory Text
This book was required for the Physical Therapy course at my Chiropractic college. I found it easy to read and informative. One of its strongest points is the redundancy of information. Though some might not agree, the fact that the authors reintroduced the same information in different contexts throughout the book reinforced learning without constant backtracking.

An excellent text for the library of any helth professional interested in PT and a good primer for those who refer patients out.
