I think this is a Great book for sports fans of all ages. It brought me back to my youth, struggling to reach a dream that I knew would never come true, but that one crack of the bat out of 100 swings kept my dream alive well past my teens.

I enjoyed reading this book a great deal. It was fun, entertaining, and over all enjoyable. I would suggest it for anyone, not only baseball fans, although baseball fans will especially enjoy it. The story flowed nicely, as you get to know each of the characters, especially Artie, who is quite the character himself. I look forward to reading more of Mr. Filicchia's work in the future.
