About the human spirit, loving freedom, life and each other.
"The Writings on the Wall" by Terry Tillman is my favorite Cold War book. I had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with the author shortly after the book was published and learned that his book is more than just historical - it is about the universal human spirit of loving freedon, life and each other. I commend the book to anyone interested in enhancing international understanding and world peace.

Great gift item!
The book The Writings on the Wall" by Terry Tillman was purchased in multiple quantity, and given to co-workers and friends. All enjoyed the "story" being told, AND shared by the writer. I highly recommend it.

... it captures the essence of the times and the humanness.
"The Writings on the Wall" by Terry Tillman is without a doubt my favorite book on the Cold War and the breaking down of the Berlin Wall. In graphic pictures and quotes it captures the essence of the times and the humanness of what was going on, not just a factual account.

Excellent Book!
This text integrates ancient yogic knowledge with the modern body analysis techniques of Feldenkrais, Reich, and Perls, and with the author's own intuitive observations. It is a compilation of modern theory, first-hand experience, and ancient belief.

A highly recommended book! Fascinating!
If you ever wonder what kind of body type you have and what baggage comes with that profile, go grab this book up! It explains the thoughts that create some of the most common ailments that modern people walk around with now. If you wonder about what causes you to have a broad chest and skinny legs, this is the book for you. If you have any part in the healing art field, this book is essential for your library. Enjoy it, be surely satisfied and fascinated all in one sitting.

Marilyn Ferguson's Book of Pragmagic

Something to think about
Alright, there are MILLIONS of self-help style books out there, but this one strikes me as being a little different. Rather than push one particular theory or deal with one particular aspect of behaviour, it is a collection of theories for a variety of things. A good book to dip into, as, although not a huge book, it is also a lot to take on board all at once. I keep going back to it and discovering something new. You may not end up the perfect person after reading this, but it is certainly thought-provoking, and you'll look at people around you in a new light.

Great Behavior Management Tool
I am a Narcolepsy Patient (Sleep Disorder). This effects my ability not only to stay awake but to concentrate and learn, my memory and language skills are greatly effected as well. This book enabled me to list my positive and negative skills and use both to improve my life. Finding keys to opening different parts of my mind at different times of the day, using common items such as sound, color, texture to stimulate my brain functions. PragMagic is well written, and scientifically proven facts and illustrations are given as help guides. Personal stories and reference to Professionals in all areas make this book a keepsake. I am sure you will enjoy just briefly reading some of the poems and articles that have been included also.

Where Healing Waters Meet: Touching the Mind and Emotions
Our body/muscles store our traumas even when we think that our conscious mind forgets. Hurts, abuses, and accidents all remain in our body/muscles. One may be in psychotherapy or counseling for months or years and think that he/she is over the trauma; but when therapeutic touch, as described by Dr. Ford, is applied to the body old traumas resurface. In this book Dr. Ford effectively melds techniques and therapies of the body/mind which he has named somatosynthesis. His descriptions of his sessions with patients are easily understood. The format of the book is a chapter describing patients sessions, alternating with a chapter devoted to the rationale which furthers the reader's knowledge and understanding of integrating body work, or therapeutic touch, with mind therapy. The patient usually has several sessions with Dr. Ford which he calls "the journey". Once the journey is completed, the patient is released and relieved of the trauma causing problems and he/she can function without restrictions or fears in life. This book is written including case studies, theories, and useful techniquers in a way that will excite and stimulate the reader.

Global Brain Awakens
Published in Paperback by Harper Collins - UK (1900)
Authors: Peter Russell and Marilyn Ferguson
Amazon base price: $16.95
Used price: $0.50

A Solid Effort!
Not too many philosophers have taken a serious crack at explaining what the advent of the Internet means to the future of human society. While technology takes a back-seat to spirituality in The Global Brain Awakens, author Peter Russell takes all the recent hype about global interconnectivity to a fascinating extreme: The Internet as the central nervous system to a newly evolved global organism. Russell draws parallels between the development of the central nervous system in living organisms and creation of Web communications here on Earth, which he argues is the biggest living organism of them all. Unfortunately, this intriguing line of thought is undermined by the book's conclusion, which collapses into a mire of hokey higher consciousness that lacks the same critical reasoning. We recommend this book to anyone interested in an alternative vision of a Web-enhanced future, provided you are not turned off by its new age clichés.

Your Wake up Call has Arrived!
Every so often a book comes along that has the potential to "rock" the very fibre of your being, as well as impact society on a grand scale. This is one of those books! Peter Russell has put together a compelling story of how the "age of consciousness" will swamp the "information age" in comparison. It all starts with learning how to finally tap into that 95% of dead weight brain we carry around. If you are on the path to higher levels of consciousness (and who isn't?), then you will want this book. Guaranteed satisfaction!!

Awakening and reassuring!
I am a programmer and technocrat, yet as I was reading the book, I could easily relate to many of the ideas and views of the science and the world presented in the book. When the book took on a spiritual view, I became a bit skeptical, but the incredibly logical arguments of the author dissolved my skepticism in favor of the new view of the world. World where greed and ego receed, and compassion and caring come to the front. It certainly is a reassuring view of the world, quite different from all the apocalypse theories that have been the craze of the media lately. The book moved me to such an extent that I now have a need to reevaluate all that is important in my life and to take on a new direction.

New Agers are Wolf in Sheep's Clothing.
Dear Oh Dear... Another paganistic and beastly concoction disguised as spiritual awakening. Obviously influenced by the likes of A A Bailey, H P Blavatsky, Aleister Crowley and other Beastly doers of deception. Notice the 666 slightly camouflaged but still blatantly obvious on the front cover? I urge you to read this but to be analytical and on your guard as many of the buzzwords and phrases have alternative meanings. Good people DO NOT be fooled by this ungodly attempt at corrupting the hearts and minds of vulnerable people. May the true God (not some spirit of the earth or a LSD-trip) bless you all.

mark of the beast
Have you noticed the symbol on the cover of the book? It is disguised cleverly. It is the mark of the beast 666. The same symbol as the Trilateral commission, and other organizations. Open your eyes people and see what you are reading. This is a perfect example of the War between God and Satan. Please study what this woman stands for before you read this book, so you will be more prepared to understad what is going on.

No Beasts, No Satanic Symbols, Just a Good, Solid Book
In my early 20s, this book set my mind on fire because it cleared away the doom-encrusted blindness of a prosaic protestant Christian (aka "dead spirituality") upbringing. Having read in the fields of perceptual door-cleansing for many years, I now see it as a good generalist overview with a lot of heart. I recommend it highly to anyone just starting their search.

waste of money
I don't know where this guy gets off. But his entire rant about Paco Votan(who the freak is this guy) and his self-declared state of being a prophet is enough to make any sane person laugh himself to tears. The book has a nice cover though and his map of the universe bears a strikingly close resemblance to the Qabalah's Tree of Life. I would like to point out that it might be useful to UFO worshippers that waste all of thier free time sitting around the Nevada desert, you can cover your face while you sunbathe. The only unfunny thing about it was that I actually paid money for it.

Something differetn
This book helps the reader to learn about expaning one's sense of the Universe... you will go along with uncle Joe Zuvuya as he shows how to open your mind to the REAL possibilites of existence. Time and space collide in this fun to read novel. I loved it... it made me think, and it was a very enjoyable story. It is a must for anyone looking to embrace the collective conscousness that is quickly ushering us into a new age.
