Your children might just clean their rooms from now on!
Although out of print, this book is a wonderful book about imagination and fun...with a lesson learned. It is about a first landmark in childhood, at trip to grandma`s house by yourself, and about the eventual understanding of a parent`s role from a child`s point of view. Sara, within the realms of her own imagination, finds herself as a Queen in charge of some very untidy fairies in a very chaotic household. Although fun and fancy-free at first, soon Sara longs for some assemblance of order and finds herself exhausted with the behavior of the fairies. It is wonderfully illustrated and beautifully written. This is a book which should be reprinted so that many children to come may enjoy this wonderful tale. Who knows, your little one might just be inclined to clean his or her room more often.

Wonderful childrens book
I wasn't a child who liked to read but I do remember this book. It was a fun story about a horse who was as onery as I was.
This is a great book for young children who love to read about animals and their friends.
My love for this book has followed me to this day. I even use casey as my chat room alias.

Casey the Utterly Ageless Horse
"Casey the Utterly Impossible Horse" is now out of print. Too bad! Anita Feagles' book is easy yet engaging to read. It is only 80 pages (broken down into 9 chapters). Each chapter details a different scenario in the life of Casey and "his boy" Mike. The story is humorous and sentimental. As a young reader in the early 1960's this was my favorite story. I still have my original copy. I recommend this story highly because the character traits displayed by Casey echo the feelings and words expressed by many adolescents.

Cool book 2 read if U R learning about Egypt
This book is sort of fun to read. It is a story translated and retold. It's not just a plain story- it's a story that was written (or really carved on stone) before the Egyptians were even around!! It's one of the oldest stories on Earth. It's about a famous Sumerian priest-king, named Gilgamesh, who was half man and half god. The nobles of his city were complaining to the gods about him because he was so powerful. So the gods sent a god as powerful as him. He was the god Enkidu. Enkidu wanted to duel Gilgamesh to see who was more powerful. They did fight, but really became friends afterwords. They both conquered the hideous monster, Humbaba. The gods got angry at them, so the gods sent a bull after them. Gilgamesh killed it. A little into the story, Enkidu dies. Gilgamesh wated to live forever with him. Parts of the story seem like Noah's Ark after Enkidu dies. Gilgamesh went on a journey away from Earth, but learned that things don't last forever, so he returned to Earth. So, that's basically what the story's about. I skipped a few parts so you could read it.
