Some books on game shows provide an listing of the history of the programs that fit the genre, others offer personalized experience. "TV GAME SHOWS" By Maxine Fabe does both. There's plenty of pictures and Ms.Fabe's top ten picks (they don't exactly match mine) plus her picks for worst games and game show sets...(Gee, I liked "The Moneymaze" and "Magnificent Marble Machine".) An update to this edition would enhance its usefulness. Still, it provides an indepth historical view of this durable television genre.
