This is Ronald Eyre's companion book for the search he took through the world's religions in the BBC documentary series "The Long Search," which is a fascinating journey in its own right. The book, rather difficult to find, is worth the effort. Eyre has a journalistic eye and a keen sense of wit. Not only do we get his thoughts on what he has learned, we get to know the individual people he encounters along the way. I can't imagine a Comparative Religions library being complete without this volume.
