Law and the Internet provides the meat for the debate.
In the emergent new forest of cyber law there is a growing need for collective works on this subject. There are many issues, which face lawyers as a result of this new technology. The issues require an open debate in order to arrive at practical solutions to the problems. Law and the Internet provides the meat for the debate on the specific problems faced by lawyers and their clients.

A major contribution!
This book throws light on an area which is much in need of illumination. The editors are to be congratulated on the production of a first class analysis of the complex legal issues involved in the internet. A seminal work.

excellent up-to-date guide on internet law and regulation

It's ok...
Nothing spectacular to write home about. When I bought this book, I was hoping for the old radio dramas that I used to listen to when I was a kid on Sunday nights. I will say that there were some very good stories. But a few left you rather wanting.

Believable story about friendship and loyalty
Edward Ardizzone had the knack of writing and illustrating wonderfully satisfying adventure stories for young children. You can read this story to a five year old, and both of you will interested - even enthralled. There is a quietude to his illustrations that my children loved. Pen and ink with watercolor washes, they convey the mood of an English seacoast town, the moods of this story's many characters, and allow room for the viewers' moods and varied reactions to the text. Children don't so much gawk at his drawings as enter them - safely.

In this story, despite wearing a life belt, a little girl nearly drowns, and is rescued by the boys Tim and Ginger. They carry her limp body into Tim's house where "Tim's mother put her to bed with lots of hot water bottles and blankets." No one knows who she might be. The doctor is called, and her convalescence begins. Her recovery is rocky and it is that process, with plenty of drama, that forms the rest of the story.

Ardizzone's messages are in favor of friendship and sticking out one's neck for others. There are some disturbing but manageable events in the story that parents might want to talk about with children. (Charlotte's amnesia; the absence of her parents; Tim's treatment at school - for writing to Charlotte, later - whom he misses.)

Another wonderful children's book by Edward Ardizzone.

A cute book...
This book is a great story about Louis' adventure through life. Louis was a trumpeter swan who wanted to win Serena's love(a female swan). So his father swiftly flew to a near music shop and stole a valuable trumpet because Louis couldn't speak. Louis then asked his friend ,Sam Beaver, for help to earn money to pay for the brass trumpet. He flew all over America to find a job. While he was in Boston,Louis found the beautiful Serena and won her love. But will Louis get enough money to pay for the exspensive trumpet? Read more to find out! E.B. White has really made this book outstanding. The Trumpet of the Swan is a great book for all ages to rea.

From this book you can learn the relationship about swans.
Sam, a boy, who loves wildlife, one day found a pair of trumpeter swans, the female was laying eggs. He plans to keep what he saw a secret. Then the next time he saw them, there were cygnets. One of them was named, Louis, he cannot talk. When his father finds out about this, he travels to Billings, Montana. There he steals a valuable brass trumpet. Louis practices very hard on the trumpet. Then Sam takes Louis to his school, where he learned to write. He wrote to Louis that he needs a job. He finds jobs everywhere. Read to find out how Louis pays off the brass trumpet.

This E.B White book is one of the best ever! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
This book is the best book E.B White has ever written, it's called the Trumpet of the Swan!!!!! This book is about a baby swan that is born with out a voice and he meets a boy named Sam Beaver! The swan's name is Louis, whose father steals a trumpet so he can talk for his loving Serena. So Louis wants to pay back the store keeper in Billings. Louis goes to many places to make money to pay him. Louis is taught how read and write and that is how he talks to people. The places Louis went for money are called Camp Kookooskoos, Boston at the Ritz, Philadelphia and the Red Rock Lakes!!!!!!!!!

Dated Material
This book reads like a bad psych textbook from the 60's & 70's; because thats basically what it is. There are some masculine universal truths but you really have to search for them. The case studies & occupations are dated & irrelivent to baby boomers in the 21st century and not very helpful IMHO. Still there are a few pearls and saving graces but you really have to work hard to read this one.

A Life Saver
When I was looking for books along this line, I saw the review titled "This book provides insights that could save your life" and thought that this book might be the one to read. It was. This book can be a life-saver, literally. It certainly made a huge impact for me.

The book may be a bit too much for a person to read unless they like psychology. No, it is not hard reading, it just may be too much material unless you were looking for specific advice. Although you may be tempted to jump to your immediately applicable section, I would suggest reading chapter 2 (on men's different eras) before doing that.

The author has a friendly, mature, informed approach. It is analytical, yet comforting. Certainly a book to recommend for men in your life that are going through changes.

Great book
Great book, great read for everyone. Author discusses the primary phases of adulthood in great detail, and very thought provoking way. Book discusses the life cycle as several distinct phases that we all go through one way or another. Having going through a transition myself, reading "Seasons" is an eye opener. If anything the more you know about your own transition, the better you can deal with it. Also, the phases help in understanding others too. Season's work will no doubt last for many generations to come.
