I only bought this because I saw Mr. D'Amboise in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Song&Dance on Broadway. This is an excellently written book,describing the toil of the everyday life of a dance. Forget the life that looks so easy and so glamerous. It is very hard work, and the author gives a down to earth, realistic description of it. I'm glad that Mr. D'Amboise survived the rigors, and gave us his gifts on the stage.
