A sham story
Letter to the author
Having read this book in 1999 (an old second hand edition), I wrote the following words to the author, whom I did not know. "Words, or the words I would use, would be inadequate to express its effect on me. The story of your personal experiences is compelling enough but what I found especially fascinating was your account of your spiritual journey starting at the Channuka feast when you had scarlet fever. That sense that God is with us personally all the time is the most marvellous kind of spiritual awareness - but it as easy now, as it ever was, to lose it by the wayside - even sometimes when striving towards spiritual understanding. The simple way it came to you that day, and the way you told of it, was more helpful to me than I can say." I was delighted to have a reply from her, and to learn that an edition that would bring her extraordinary story up to date, would soon be available. I should add that, whatever the direction of any person's spiritual journey, and whatever their faith, this book will resonate with them if they are making such a journey.

This book is clearly an attempt to utilize suffering in WWII for promoting a specific religious sect. I recommmend that readers not waste their money on it.
