The work is a masterful recreation of all the emotions, barriers and inclinations of someone who is exiled from his or her country of origin. The remembrances of happy and not so happy experiences, the cutting self examination of Eddie is an ongoing current. He resembles a ship with nothing under the waterline, constantly seeking for a surface to anchor, a hope to grasp.
The time to read this author has come. He cuts no corners, his intention is clear: Look into your mirror and you will also see yourself as an exile, no matter if your circumstances in life have delivered you a better lot.
