Indispensable book for anyone involved in Sales promotion
Blattberg & Neslin's book is the best book I have come across which deals with sales promotion planning and analysis. Unlike most books which content themselves with conceptual approaches to the issue, this book, deals extensively with the analysis (i.e. modelling). If you are involved in Sales promotion (especially in packaged goods), the book will be the most important addition to your bookshelf

An awesome revelation for me...Isaiah 40:31
This book has given me a deeper insight on one of my favorite verses in the bible. From the book of Isaiah 40:31, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Oh how I love to wait on the Lord and serve him.
May God forever bless Tommy Tenney for sharing with us what God has poured into his spirit.

Life changing book
This book was read front to back at least 3 times so far by me. The first time I read it, I couldn't help but go back and re-read, because I would get lost in prayer and my amazement for God. It is an amazing book, and a must read. I would suggest it to anyone who wants to grow closer to God in a very intimate and human way.

THIS BOOK TAKES THE CAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Words cannot express this power-filled book!! I simply must say READ IT!!! It will totally burn your heart for God in a way you will have never experienced. It is completely Biblical and extremely reader friendly. Again, I cannot express in words the passion in this book. Simply said, read it!

1982 Morton Hunt how we think or not
Yep it is all of the fun questions that we need answering. And Morton tries to explain how and why. The back cover has a prominent selection that explains the book better than the introduction.

The prewired brain:
Improving your memory:
Do we ever totally forget anything?
How logical are we? Not very. How much does it matter?
Do you "pigeonhole" other people, experiences, events? Is it bad to do so?
Where children's ideas come from:
Solving new problems:
Mind over computer:

There are several illustrations and tests. No breakthrough theories.

This is the book that set me on my way as a scientist
I was an Econ major until I read this book - I now have an undergraduate degree in cognitive science and a DPhil in neuropsychology. This book turned me on the fun stuff that is the science of the mind. It led me to Douglas Hofstadter, on to Oliver Sacks and a host of other authors and I was so influenced by it that I mentioned Morton Hunt in the dedication to my dissertation. Buy this book if you want to be captivated by what we are beginning to understand about how the mind works - how we think, remember and solve problems and engage in conversation.

Brilliant idea, uninspired execution
Comics like "Two-Fisted Science" serve nothing but a good purpose. They remind us that comics - like other art forms - can be about anything, and are not captives of the humor, fantasy and adventure genres.

A science-themed comic is especially appropriate, as the art-text combination inherent to comics would seem perfect for conveying complex/cosmic ideas. This collection features some terrific artists - notably Bernie Mireault, David Lasky, Colleen Doran and Sean Bieri - but I was a bit disappointed in the writing. Ottaviani's stories so intent on being unorthodox and different that they instead become meandering and confusing. Oftentimes I was unsure of what exactly was at stake for each story and why we should care about what was being told. And I would expect to actually learn more about SCIENCE in such a book. Also, the organization of the book into seemingly random sections, and the clumsy, unimaginative publication design diminished the effect.

I give the book high marks for effort, nice artwork, and the especially interesting portraits of Richard Feynman, but overall I'd rate "Two-Fisted Science" a noble failure.

science/history in graphic medium
We have given this book to various friends who have enjoyed the hard science topics in the 'comic book' format. We also have given it to nieces and nephews, who may not realize that they are being exposed to science and history. We can chat with them about it later, to see how much they have absorbed and to encourage them to reread it (comics are fun after all).

This book is about 4 people in the north pole that get lost
The book "A flag at the pole" is pretty good. Its a really cool book. At some times its exciting and at other times it gets boring. The reason i like this book is because it is weird. Its about 4 people that go to the North Pole and get really lost. they are from Britain. Their names are Jack, Maria, Joey, and Beth. They try to get home but they run into a lot of trouble. In the story they run into a polar bear that is really big but they.......... you have to read the book to find out what happens. The book has many exciting parts. I like the polar bear part the best. There are a lot of more problems than what I wrote. They run into deer, storm, and a lot of other things. THis book was pretty fun to review. I am done with the review now so take this book out at the library a.s.a.p. because it is a really great book
