Check Out Chuck!
This book starts where his other book, Chuck Amuck left off.It makes mention of a more recent update to his classic cartoon OneFroggy Evening entitled Another Froggy Evening, which features a cameoof Siskel and Ebert and Chuck himself! It again pays tribute to hisco-workers, particularly Friz Freleng, tells more about he came upwith his ideas, and gives pointers on cartoon making to othersinterested in the field of animation. There's nobody better to offeradvice from!...

A must have for Chuck Jones fans!
This biography goes in deep into Chuck Jones' life. Chuck stresses the importance of "character" & "believability"in character animation. His life experiences from childhood to today can be seen reflected into his body of work. But best of all; the book is filled with animation tips which are very useful for anyone studying animation. A must have!

Excellent!! An Absolute Materpiece
This book is a great guide for animators to reagain the knowledge of the lost art know as animation! this is a great tool to use since just about every cartoon out now a days is horrible...

Bats Galore.....
"Bat is waking, upside down as usual, hanging by her toenails. Her beady eyes open. Her pixie ears twitch. She shakes her thistledown fur..." So begins Nicola Davies marvelous picture book introduction to the world of bats. Follow mother bat as she awakens at dusk, flies out into the night hunting and searching for food, then returns home at sunrise to feed her batling, and sleep again until nightfall. Ms Davies combines a simple and evocative story line with interesting scientific information, fun facts, and trivia. Find out where bats live, how they hang upside down so effortlessly, their special body features, how they navigate at night by echolocation, what they eat, how they hunt... Sarah Fox-Davies' quiet and eloquent illustrations complement the text beautifully, and bring this mysterious little creature and its habitat to life. Perfect for emerging readers, Bat Loves The Night is non-fiction at its very best, and is a fascinating and intriguing book budding scientists will want to study, pore over, and read again and again.

Great Book!
Martin Lindstrom does a great job letting the reader know that the root of success when communicating with kids is understanding kids, their lives, dreams and hopes. He not only analyzes data from 7 countries, but includes his own experiences with working with kids and with kids related brands. He is able to get his point across without being boring, looking at the subject form different angles.
I also checked out the MartinLindstrom.com site. I think it is a great site, with tons of brand info related to kids and general brand trends. Well done!

The Secret Seapon
This book is the secret weapon for anyone who markets to kids or wants to. Lindstrom manages to make the subject entertaining and engaging while teaching you a pile of indispensible techniques to capture a kid's heart.

Not only does the book teach you how to market products better, it gets you thinking different. Suddenly, you're developing products and strategies with kids in mind, and you understand why certain products are big hits with kids.

Another funny thing about this book...it helps you to understand kids better. For readers with their own kids, this could be the greates value of all.

Excellent Book!
This is purely and simply and excellent book that manages to explain a difficult and topical subject by usind simple and effective use of examples and facinating data from the global BrandChild study. Everyone looking to market not only to kids but almost to anything must read this as it will rationalise the arguments against traditional marketing and promotion.

Great Follow-on to Boeing in Peace and War!
Mr. Bauer's - Boeing: The First Century - is a great follow-on to his earlier work - Boeing in Peace and War. Although it has much of the same text as its predecessor, it boasts of numerous illustrations to match the text to the Boeing aircraft he describes. A good work well worth the price.

Some Things Change Slowly
In 1994 my wife and I made our first trip to Italy, and in preparation for that trip I made heavy use of "The Charming, Small Hotel Guide to Italy." Upon our return, I later came across the first edition of their guide to "Tuscany and Umbria" and another for "Venice and the Veneto."

I swear by these guides-- but I have to complain a little about the latest edition. First, it has changed very little from the prior edition-- there are only a handful of new entries. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, in the interim, many of the properties listed have acquired e-mail accounts and developed websites. The internet era has made it much easier to check on room availability, current pricing, etc., but very few email addresses or URLs are listed. That complaint aside, this is a good, useful book, one I would use to plan our next trip to Tuscany-- if we couldn't get a room at "our place."

Great
We used this to plan our lodging in Tuscany, and we stayed in some wonderful places. I would highly recommend it for those interested in staying in smaller hotels with lots of charm.

Wonderful hotels for a great travel experience
We are the authors of Eating & Drinking in Italy and have used this guide for many years. If you want to have a memorable trip to Italy, stay in the small hotels listed in this helpful guide.

Great Book for Instructors Libraries As Well
As a certified yoga teacher, I have found this book to be a good, basic source of information. Perfect for passing on to beginning students who would like to know more about yoga, it's beginnings and how it can and will affect their bodies. Easy to navigate. I would use this as a supplement to practice with and instructor or video.

Great and very accessible.
This wonderful gem came across my desk quite by accident and I am ever so thankful. The book is clear, concise and well written just for starters but more importantly gives very detailed advice for tailoring a yoga program to meet individual needs. The book is limited to a fewer number of asanas than many books but for most people this is enough when dealing with structural issues. The book also provides clear tools for evaluating structural abnormalities and suggestions for particular asanas. In addition, the discussion of yoga philosophy and traditions, as well as personal anecdotes all add to this books charm. One of the best I have come across.

Great research book
I have just started a Yoga practice, and I am interested in the therapeutic use of asanas. This book goes in depth enough to help me in this way. Mr. Stiles makes it possible to learn about and self treat all types of musculo-skeletal issues safely, though he does recommend having a teacher to supplement your own practice. This book has explained what muscles I need to stretch and strengthen. The history and background of yoga given in the introductory chapters is well written and interesting to read, which was an unexpected bonus for me. I am looking forward to using the exercise series outlined in the book.
