An Extremely High Quality Book
It seems to me that few have seen the remarkable works of this master painter. If you haven't you're missing out. I had to write a review of this book, because no one has yet, and I wanted to express what an amazing job the Publishers did. This book shows Nevinson's work in great detail and has some of the highest quality pictures of his paintings I have ever seen. Nevinson paints some of the most visually stunning pictures of World War I. They are violent and vivid, full of energy and color...Groetesque and romantic all the same. Give these publishers (and Nevinson) some credit and ~BUY THIS BOOK~

Excellent reference book
This book is amazing. It covers a wide range of viruses. Most importantly it gives detailed technical informations on the diagnosis of viruses which usually cannot be found in most virology books. It is an indispendsable book for professionals working in the virology field. As a medical technologist in a virology lab. I have found this book extermely useful whenever I am in doubt at work.

Excellent comprehensive Retina Vitreous text
This two volume set covers medical and surgical retina. It has many fine color photographs and is written on a high level. It seems to fill some of the gaps left by the Ryan Retina series. Drug coverage seems up to date, and treatment recommendations are current

Nice pictures but that's all
Ever try to look up a word in a 600 page dictionary that isn't in any order known to you? Unless you know this book's secret you'll have to look through the entire book to find your weed, if it's in the book at all. There is a key on page 603 but no instructions on how to use it and the author apparently doesn't return email inquiries. This book is full of great pictures but if you want a book to help you identify a weed in your garden look somewhere else.

Photos extraodinaire!! Easy to identify.
A must-have book for gardeners, hikers, rural residences. 100% color photos make it great to ID weeds about the house. Categorized by family so pretty easy to find. Books that have art renderings of plants just don't ID a plant for me, and I'm an artist!
Any negative about the book would be that it could use more descriptive type about the plant.

a must for native plant gardeners
This book isn't for everyone, but it really fills a gaping hole in the reference library of any gardener interested in the use of native plants, xeriscape gardening, wildflower cultivation, etc. For anyone who has ever let a yard go to seed "just to see what happens" (or dreamed of doing so) this book helps you determine what weeds are really weeds and what weeds are hidden treasures. The book is amply illustrated with photos of both mature plants and seedlings, which helps you determine what to get rid of after monsoon rains have done their part. The descriptions are clear and the index functions fine. Plus I just love the idea of having an entire book on weeds!

BEST BOOK FOR STEP 3!
The best book for the Step 3. Believe me. I checked quite a few books before I decided to buy this one. Take some time to answer all he 2000+ questions, but after finishing them, you don't need to read much more. Every little detail encountered in the test is addressed in Swanson's, including ethics and so forth.
I got a pretty good score in the test!!!

If you only buy one book for Step 3...
...this is the one to buy! Though this book is long, if you want one book that captures the essentials of everything on Step 3, you will definitely find it here.

The questions are grouped together by a case of a patient presenting with the typical historical complaints of a particular clinical problem or diagnosis. For a hypertensive patient, for example, not only will they discuss diagnosis and treatment of hypertension, but they also have questions dealing with hypertensive urgencies, inpatient and outpatient management. The OB cases are comprehensive and manage to avoid the "controversial" issues for those who do not practice OB and want to review the basic principles for Step 3. The psychiatry section is also very good at helping to distinguish between similar diagnoses using case-based discussions and comparisons.

One of the best book i have ever read in my entire life
For all those who want to be good doctors,i have got a piece of advice which is Buy this book now!!!!.Though this book was written for the family practice review boards this is just as much worth for candidates who are preparing for usmle step 2 and step3.It contains all the basic information as what is done routinely in each and every case starting from the diagnosis to treatment. It covers each and every clincial specalities like medicine, surgery, gyna and obs, psychiatry, ethics and much more.I am preparing for step 3 right now and found this book worth a million dollars. The kind of information i gained from this book is amazing for instance
I always knew that the treatment of myocardial infarction is nitrates, aspirin, thrombolytic therapy and angiographic procedures like angioplasty. But after reading this book i came to know as what is exactly done after acutley treating this patient like you shift him to ICU and do a test for ejection fraction. Before discharging the patient which is usually 4-5 days after inpatient treatment you give the patient a submaximal stress test and ask the patient to come after 4-6 weeks ifthe sub maximal test is negative for the maximal stress test. You can ask the patient to resume his usual activity by 6-8 weeks and sexual intercourse by 4 weeks.
I gained lot of practical information like this.Excellent book!!
