Scoop on JFK
On page 30 the author reveals a "well-kept secret". JFK's first wife was Malcom Durie. His father Joseph P. Kennedy had enough money to squelch information about this marriage. It is doubtful that even Jackie knew. (I can guarantee you that Nixon did not know.)

Yet, on the Internet, I could find no search results on any of these things. Still, this is an interesting book. The author was an attorney with the Justice Department so his revelation should have some validitity.

Tragically, a good book!
This "two volumes in one" book deals with extreme opposites on the tragedy scene in Wisconsin.

"Fire" refers to the Great Peshtigo Fire of Peshtigo, Wisconsin. You may or may not have heard of it. It occurred the same night as the Great Chicago Fire. Obviously, we now know which conflagration received more press. The fact is, more people died, more property was destroyed, and a larger area was burned in the Peshtigo Fire than in Chicago.

"Ice" refers to tragedies on the Great Lakes around Wisconsin.

If you can get a copy of this book, I urge you to do so. It is well worth reading!

Jan Sweeney Must be back for Revenge
Hey~ Let's get a break from Jan Sweeney..the lady who pretends to understand metaphysics but just rides the motorcycles of her mind. Oh dear..this is poor fiction......

Too small, nothing new, too little explanation from Jane
I'm disappointed to see how others have presumed Mary Marecek's intention for publishing her book. I'm also disappointed to see the "it's not Jane" condemnations. Who could ever know for sure that some part of Jane's survival personality was not involved in the production of this manuscript? We also know about channeling, Seth told us many times, that a level of distortion is involved in the process coloring the work through the mind of the receiver. FOR MY REVIEW.... The first thing about this book is it's size. THE BOOK IS VERY SMALL and in my opinion is hardly worthy [it]... However, I did find some valuable information in this book. I didn't read any ideas here that I haven't already read in a Seth book. The concepts presented here might offer a slightly different perspective but I believe reading Seth would be much more beneficial not to say cost effective.

Uplifting, beautiful and guiding but not really Jane Roberts
I was fully prepared to let myself be surprised by this book - and I was. Although I found it stimulating and beautifully inspired in places I cannot say that I heard Jane Roberts' voice clear enough through it; rather what I heard was a mirror image of her worldview speaking through the author's absorption of Seth's teachings. Lacking was a sense of depth and multi-dimensionality expressed by Jane's writings as here the words sometimes verge on the very banal.

Nevertheless it is a very inspiring book of simplicity and grace and I have recommended it to many as a starting point in self-exploration.
