"Stressed? Your cope runneth over"
As the title of this book indicates, this small little book contains 532 quick quips and sayings. Some of them are serious and some of them are quirky and most of them are pretty funny. Well worth quoting! The quoters range from Carrie Fisher to Pennsylvania Dutch Sayings to anonymous quoters. Oh and a few are from bumper stickers! And quite a few from the author himself. And I wish I had said them, too. The problem with having a book like this is that it makes me realize how unwitty I am...

But then, I can always quote somebody else. :)

Very good, nice layout
Thought the book was great. Needs more quips! I guess I'll wait for QQQII

Absolutely superb Book!
We really enjoyed the quips they represent a great culmination of sayings by the very best thinkers.

Good Book Joni

Excellent Resouce
In a field where resources for musical theatre choreographers are few and far between, this text is exceptional, in-depth, and insightful. The interviews are informative and delve into the very personal choreographic processes. An excellent resource!

Interviews with people you should know...
The editorial review gives a great description - if you are a dancer or choreographer in today's business, you will want to read about how those who have succeeded got where they are. Hermes Pan, who did more than 60 Hollywood musicals; Joe Layton of Broadway's Once Upon a Mattress, Sound of Music, and George M!, and the film Thoroughly Modern Millie; Lee Theodore, originaly in West Side Story and founder of The American Dance Machine; Michael Bennett and Bob Avian, creators of A Chorus Line; Pat Birch, choreo. of the film Grease and so much more; Larry Fuller of Evita; Tommy Tune of many Broadway shows; Graciela Daniele of Ragtime, AGYG, and A New Brain; Dan Siretta of Goodspeed Opera House; Wayne Cilento, original dancer in A Chorus Line and Dancin'.

It tells how they started, who inspired them, and what they look for in casting and collaborators. I highly suggest it!

The rich and the reckless.

A dazzling story of romance and danger set in the golden era of Monte Carlo in the 1890s. A city sizzling in sin and teeming with royalty and highrollers, Monte Carlo, with its lush casinos, was a glittering wonderland to young and innocent women like Lydia Bradley.

On assignment from her New York newspaper, Lydia was swept up in the perilous and sophisticated ways of the Monte set, and fell prey to the lustful advances of the rich and the reckless. Soon the stakes became far too high, and Lydia gambled on too much love and flirted with death for the story of a lifetime!

One of the best picture collections on the 1904 fair.
This book is based on a collection of about 150 pictures of the fair taken by the author's father. The pictures are very good and give a very good idea of the fair to anyone who is truly interested in the fair.

The map of the fair ground is interesting too, with its comparison to the present day Forest Park.

In addition, Mrs. Daniels Birk has explained the activities and events at the fair ground in a very smooth manner, from the eyes of a visitor !!

This is not a detailed narration of the fair. I know there were 45 nations represented at the fair. I was especially looking for any mention about a building on East India, but couldn't find anything about it.

A real good book !

Baptist study bible
At last a Bible where you can get a clear idea of how traditional but not fantical Baptist think. The bible is well laid out with outlines and vital information on each book and the footnoting is excellent with a rich variety of comments from some of the better thinkers of the Baptist way.

For a Baptist the book is a plus for a non-baptist it is educational tool in comparative christian thought and theology.

A wealth of info, a great buy!
This study Bible is one of the best versions out there. It is very easy to follow and understand. It has outlines and footnotes that allow you to apply each verse to everyday life.

BEST STUDY BIBLE AVAILABLE
I am a Seminary student and have gone through many study bibles. However, this work by W.A. Criswell is by far the best in the business.
