Yes now, darling!
Totally hilarious! This play tickled my funny bone as it has been
tickled in the past by plays such as The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged and Something's Rotten in the State of Denmark. I recently saw Not Now, Darling in production, and it
is even better performed than read. To everyone out there who loves farce, kooky mix-ups, and ladies running around in their underthings, happy reading!

Humbert, a French general in rebel Ireland, 1798

A readable little book
This book, as it's title implies focuses on Humbert's short foray into Ireland. However this was only one of the many adventures that he crammed into a short life. A few extra pages to complete the story of this remarkable charachter would not have gone amiss. Anyone who can manage to win the heart of the Emperor's sister (for a while anyway), escape drowning in a shipwreck, befriend the Lafitte brothers, (pirates by trade), Marie the Sainted (a voodoo priestess), fight in the Vendee, Ireland, across central Eurpoe, Santo Dominica, New Orleans and attempt to lead an invasionary force to Mexico surely deserves a biography of more than 34 pages. The only thing that did annoy me about this book was Cooney's tendency to link the events of 1798 to the modern Irish Peace process and sugest that this is just exactly the way that long dead old warhorse Jean Joseph Humbert would have wanted it. Maybe he would have approved, maybe he wouldn't; probably he would just have eyed up a pretty girl and asked for another whiskey.

Seven Little Rabbits

Night time reading
My brothers, parents and I fondly remember reading this book to my little sister. The repetitive 7 little rabbits becomes so monotonous that the reader is usually asleep, while the child is still enraptured. Oh, and don't even try to skip a rabbit.

Kindergartner's in Elim, AK love it!
This book is fabulous. I teach kindergarten & preschool and the children want to sing this book all day long. I have found the book on-line, but I have not found the audio tape that goes with it. If you can get a hold of the tape, I am sure you will love the tune. It is very catchy. This is a must have book in your at-home library and your at-school library. Happy Reading!

Has captivated 8 grandchildren and many of my students
Delightful, happy, fascinating and captivating. The young child will want to hear it over and over. Grandparents will hum the rhyme right along with the children! It's a classic that we plan to preserve for future generations to enjoy, too.

Entertaining Reading
I read a not-so-flattering account of this novel and thought it deserved a break. Very simply put - I liked it! The reader will not find a smut-filled, disrespectful tale of the Catholic Church, but rather a web of intrigue, a little lust and loyalty. It kept me turning pages. Unbelievable? Perhaps. But an enjoyable work of fiction, nonetheless.

Recommended.
The book was in the condition related on the page and the shipping was fast. Don't hesitate to do business with this shop.

Religion and mystery, together at last!
I really liked this book. I'm here right now looking in case the author has written any more fiction, but looks like I'm out of luck. If you like mysteries involving religious figures, you'll love it, like me.
