THE perfect book!
I loved everything about this book! I relate well to Lucky Santangelo, she's the type of woman, that most of us women want to be. The book is exciting, dramatic, romantic and clever. The characters are interesting. Completing this book will leave you feeling great! Then I found out, that there is also the LADY BOSS movie! I ordered it, and was happy to see, how well the Actors portrayed these characters! Kim Delaney was a cute and clever little Lucky, and it was GREAT to see Jack Scullia as Lenny Golden, he was perfect. There were alot of familiar faces in this movie, and it's exciting to see how these characters come to life! I watch it over and over again, it's just as addicting as Jackie Collins books! If you read ANY book, THIS is the one to read!

Who is really the boss?
First of all let me tell you that this book is not an easy reading, it has to many characters and to many stories, to be exact it has six stories, at first all of them separately but in the middle of the book they will be as one big story. Of course the main story, the story of Lucky and Lennie is the must important, but you are really interested in all the stories at the same time. When you end a chapter of one story you want to skip the next chapter to see what happened in that specific story, but when you start to read about the other story you forget about the first one and you will want to know what happened to this one.
The end of the book is not so good, but the book still keep 5 stars

'LADY BOSS'
I recently finished 'LADY BOSS' the third book in the Lucky Santangelo series and I absolutely loved it! Where 'LUCKY' was good 'LADY BOSS' was great. In this third installment Lucky goes to Hollywood in hopes of acquiring a major movie studio, however, just before she closes the deal she finds out that there is a catch. She has to work undercover at the studio for six weeks as a plain Jane secretary! At first Lucky is reluctant but soon the idea of surprising her husband movie star Lennie Golden with his own studio coupled with the sheer enjoyment of being able to spy on all of the studio executives is too much for Lucky to pass up. But as Lucky soon finds out Lennie is not too thrilled with her surprise, which puts their marriage in serious jeopardy.

There are so many enjoyable story lines in this book that it makes it hard to put down. An example of this is the story of Venus Maria and Martin Swanson the movie star and the billionaire. Swanson is a business tycoon who is married to Dena Swanson a woman who became famous by using the Swanson name and refuses to let anybody take that away from her including the Madonna like movie and recording star Venus Maria. But Venus is determined to have Martin all to herself that is until her brother Emilio shows up and stirs up trouble for the couple.

I found this book to be extremely entertaining and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. Lucky is powerful, demanding and independent a true example of a strong woman. 5 Stars!

An intriguing book that keeps you guessing
This book keeps you wondering about everything: the murder, the characters, the story line. It is filled with more real life story plots than lustfull sex scenes.(That's a good thing!)

L.A. Connections is a well written mini-series with all the good qualities of Collins other books except with one difference, a good mystery plot that keeps you guessing.

Great Book about S Club 7 in Miami!
This book is all about the show. It has lots of pictures. Even summeries of all the episodes with what songs were sung. This book is perfect for anyone who loved the series. Even comes with posters!

I loved this!
Although this book doesn't really have that much info on the band, it has billions of pictures. There are several fold-out posters, losts of collages, and an episode guide, too.

Even though it's a bit old, every S Club fan should own this!

S Club 7 is the BOMB!
The S Club 7 has millions of pictures, good info about the band, and 2 great posters that I put on my locker @ school. The pictures are great, and for their birthday!! Happy reading!

Lucky is SENSATIONAL drama book..
Its better than ever...Lucky's stamina is thrilling ..the Magriano, Atlantic city....and Lennie is simply adorable...all chracters r fun nd u'll luv to read 'em..... Olympia, Brigitte,Steven,Carrie(she's a darling), jess ,matt .u'll luv them all...i cant wait to read the next sequel 'lady boss' nd 'Lucky's Vendetta' ...a must for all...never knew when i finished the book.

Excellent!
Jackie Collins knows how to keep a reader reading. The plot was excellent and Lucky was the bomb. She either liked you or she didn't and she read people like an open book. She was determined to be the "Woman" in a so called man's world. She took care of her responsibilities like a true lady. Lucky and Lennie were made for each other, even though they had many obstacles in their way. The Bonnatti's have once again learned not to mess with the Santangelo's. Gino and Lucky are still on top and loving it. This book has everything, so if you're hesitant about buying it, don't be. Collins knows how to write about a true woman.

This book oozes with sex, glamour, and intrigue.
Lucky Santangelo is ruthless, cunning, and attractive. She is the daughter of the gangster Gino Santangelo and she lets nothing stand in her way. She is a woman who is on top of things and never allows anyone to stand in her way. Lucky marries the father of her estranged high school girlfriend Olympia Stanislopolous. Olympia angered by the marriage and envied by her slim physique, vows to have nothing to do with her. Lenny Golden, the comic who married the Greek heiress, is in love with Lucky. And who can blame him? Then there are the other characters Santino Bonnatti, his wife and mistress (who is also Lenny's ex-girlfriend), Carrie Berkely and her son Steven (who is also the illegitimate son of Gino Santangelo), and others that the make the novel a great read. Jackie Collins knows what to write and how to write it.

Fun, Mindless Fun!
How I love Jackie Collins!! These days, there are so many boring, insipid books lurking under the guise of being "deep" or "insightful" - when really they're just high-minded nonsense. Jackie Collins is the antidote.

Like all JC books, Sinners isn't about the plot, or the dialogue, or the writing. Sinners is about having fun. Jackie has created a bunch of interesting characters, and then thrown them into a story full of sex, drugs and movie stars!! A completely fun book - not deep, not insightful, not anything remotely high-minded. Sinners is just about enjoying a book - it's like gossiping over coffee.

I love Jackie Collins
I've been a fan of Jackie Collin's work since I was a teenager. I spent many hours reading about love, lust and sex in the trendy show biz world in my youth. This new short novel format gave me enough of a Collins fix without having to stay up all night. I was still able to get to work on time. Enjoy.

vendetta lucky's revenge
jackie keeps your nose in this one following lucky's revenge on those who cross her or her love ones. I am within 50 pages of completing this book and nearly having withdrawals already. I am frantically trying to find some more titles by jackie that i have not yet read. I've read titles by all the greats such as mary higgin clark, danielle steele, sandra brown, toni morrison, etc and although they are all great, jackie is by far the greatest with keeping you interested. when lucky was created i developed a new friend. keep up the great work jackie and keep those books coming pleeeeeese!

Oh, brother
I've read every Jackie Collins book she's written, but this one seems like an imitation of an imitation. Where is the freshness? Hollywood seems old and tired and so do all of the characters. They all still live back in 1975, I guess. Maybe Jackie has changed or maybe I have, but I got so hung up on the awful writing that I couldn't get into the plot, and didn't care about any of the characters who are still thinking about sex just as they did in 1975-- nothing seems to have changed. The characters still "give head" and the men still think the length of their you know what means anything. Whoa, Jackie. It's 1997. People think twice before passing bodily fluids. The Mafia is boring and "Donnatella" (villainess) doesn't light my fire. I certainly don't care whether Lucky prevails or not-- and maybe she should comb her "wild mane" of hair, which is about the only description that Collins bothers to give of her, other than that she's gorgeous, of course. All of Collins' characters each have about 4 characteristics that drive them-- i.e., ambition, greed, lust and sexual attractiveness. That's it. That's all there is. Read carefully and you can see this for yourself-- they do not do one thing that isn't caused by one of those four characteristics the author has given them. Everything they say or do is driven by ambition, lust, etc. etc. This makes for a lot of characters who are like wind-up dolls. I gave this book a generous 4 because some of Jackie's earlier books did give me a lot of enjoyment, but maybe that was because it was back in 1977. Oh, by the way, Jackie still gives good author photo. She looks twice as good as she did on her first books when she was 20 or 25 years younger. Must be something in the water out there..

Lucky's Revenge!
VENDETTA: LUCKY'S REVENGE, is the 4th in a series of books about Lucky Santangelo, daughter of an italian "businessman" who had ties with the mafia. In this novel, Lucky experiences a series of bad luck, not realizing til much later that this was not bad luck, but an old nemesis Donna Donnatelli Bonnatti taking revenge on the family and on Lucky for murdering Donna's husband Enzio. Lucky's movie studio is taken over by an unknown business woman, and her husband Lennie Goldman is reported missing and dead. It does appear to be bad luck but it takes some heavy duty sleuthing for Lucky to figure out what is really going on. In between this main plot, there are sub plots with various hollywood-type characters. The action never stops, as is typical in any Jackie Collins book.

If you are looking for some fast action, you won't go wrong with LUCKY'S REVENGE.

Vendetta: Lucky¿s Revenge
'VENDETTA' is the fourth book in Jackie Collins wildly successful Santangelo series and once again Collins did not disappoint. In 'VENDETTA' Lucky finds herself once again the target of the Bonnatti families revenge, This time it is Donnatella Bonnatti, the widow of Santino Bonnatti, who seeks revenge on Lucky for the death of her husband for which she feels Lucky is responsible. Donnatella Bonnatti, with the help of many plastic surgeons and a language coach to help rid her of her heavy Italian accent, has now transformed herself into Donna Landsman an extremely successful business woman who has her sights set on taking over Lucky's Panther Studios. Lucky, who worked hard to get Panther Studios back on top is determined not to be forced out as head of the studio and replaced with Mickey Stoli, the former head of Panther who ran the studio into the ground. That is until a string of personal misfortunes bring Lucky to believe that maybe this isn't just a string of bad luck, that maybe these misfortunes are some how connected to her past.

The Santangelo series is by far my favorite ongoing series and while I am eager to read 'DANGEROUS KISS' the fifth installment in the series I am not eager to finish out the series. I hope that Collins continues to write about the Santangelo family for at least a couple more books!

OH MAN I CANNOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN!
Jacie Collins' books since the last Lucky novel (which is one of my top 5 favorite books of hers) have not been that impressive. In fact, they have all paled next to "Revenge". I knew this one would kick butt, and it does! I CANNOT put it down, since I started reading it yesterday. It just keeps getting better and better. It's so fun to read about continuing characters like Jack Nicholson and Madon--oops! I mean Charlie Dollar and Venus. (even though I can't stand Madonna, Venus is much more likeable than she is). Now the new characters, such as Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks-oops, I mean Lina and DiDi are entertaining too (though so far nothing's been able to top the last one where the German Victoria's Secret Model turns out to really be a man!) Jackie Collins always satisfies when she writes about Lucky. I'm in the last 100 pages of this book now and you could not pay me enough to put it down and not find out what happens next. To be continued.

Another great Lucky Santangelo novel!
As always, Jackie Collins has done a great job in writing a fast paced novel. The "Lucky" Books seem to be her best and this is no exception. Great characters all around too. For those who have not read any of her earlier "Lucky" books, fear not. This book has hints of previously introduced characters so you will not feel lost and confused reading about them. You can easily go back to her other "Lucky" books and see what you had missed!

A quick synopsis: Lucky Santangelo, now married to Lennie Golden, writer and director, is now herself working in the movie biz. As she deals with this part of her life, another part starts to fall apart when a family member is gunned down in cold blood and it starts to affect her marraige to Lennie.

The characters in this book are well developed and I find that I care about each one of them. We root for Lucky as she tries to find the killers and as always there is that happy ending! You wont' be disappointed with DANGEROUS KISS.

One of Her Best
Not as good as "Revenge", but very close (and that's saying a lot). The wait for the next Lucky book was worth it! I could NOT put this down.I walked down the street reading it (not very smart) because I had to keep reading! The characters are great, both old and new.Nicholson--uh, Charlie Dollar is up to his old tricks. Lucky is as kick-butt as ever. Collins brings in some very nasty new villians, who I really hated and wanted to see come to horrible ends (especially Carlo, an insane, possesive, abusive evil pr*** who gets Bridgette, Lucky's goddaughter, hooked on heroin to control her) and one of them came to exactly the end I was hoping for (I won't tell you which one). I didn't find Lina all that sympathetic of a character (maybe because I can't stand Naomi Campbell) but she did get more likeable, and she was very entertaining. I probably found Irena, a russian housekeeper with a dark past, the most likeable, and felt the sorriest for her. When you finally find out how her horrible daughter Mila was conceived, it's 100% pure Jackie Collins all the way. The scene is over-the-top, yet still beleivable (and sad).

Here's a little tip for gossip-hounds like me who love to read her Hollywood novels and try to figure out who each character is based on. OK, if you read the tabloids it's pretty obvious sometimes, but sometimes it takes you a little longer. Usually what she'll do is have the character in a room or at a party and the celebrity that Collin's character is based on will walk in. Usually another character will say something like, "Oooo, look! (insert celebrity here) just walked in!" and the character who is based on that celebrity will get irritated. She's gotten a little less subtle about it as the years go by--the characters will have rhyming names with the celebrity they are based on, or very similar ones. Either way, it's a blast.

This is one book thast's worth not waiting for the paperback. Pick it up if you're a fan--you won't be dissapointed.

Put yourself in their shoes!
This is the first Jackie Collins book that I have read in at least 5 years. It has been a long time and I can see what I have been missing. It was a quick, easy read and even though there is a little bit over 500 pages, I polished it off very quickly. I devoured the juicy details of the Hollywood lives that are depicted in this book. It was a definite page turner and I felt that Collins really brought the characters to life. At first, I was a little bit unsure if I would like the characters. But after awhile I felt myself sympathizing with almost all of them in some form or another. I am generally not attracted to this genre, but I must say that Jackie is a winner. I am once again hooked by her writing style and can't wait to reread the first one. This book will take you to LA behind the scences and take you to places that you usually only see in the movies!

Couldn't Put It Down
Granted, Jackie Collins is not the best writer in the world, and she doesn't pretend to be. Her characters are cliched and their dialogue is at times painful to read. What she does write here, however, is a juicy page turner, a delicious guilty pleasure. I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next, and when I got to the end I was satisfied, yet sad that the adventure was over. This is definitely one of Collins' best novels in a long time. Still, nothing has been able to top the original Hollywood Wives for interesting characters, shocking surprises and jaw-dropping twists and turns.

Great Summer Reading!!!!
Hollywood Wives - The New Generation is my favorite summer read so far! I love the fact that Michael Scorsinni is back from Hollywood Kids. All the new characters are the usual Collins mix of glamour, power and sex! I highly recommend this book. Jackie as usual has outdone herself again!

Foreplay for her next book
Although I am a Jackie Collins fan, I found this book to be quite predictable. This story just sets you up for her next installment in the story of "Madison". I found this book to be a very quick read. I kept wondering when we would find out everything dealing with Madison's parents, alas nothing except in the last 10 pages we find out that she has a half-brother? Did anyone else see this coming? What was the deal with Rosarita and her family? How were they important to the story? They never had anything to do with Madison execpt for her passing Rosarita's husband while he was jogging. I truly enjoyed the books Ms. Collins wrote dealing with the Santangelo's, if she is try to recapture that feeling with this one, she missed. Hopefully the next installment will be more eye opening, if not bring back Lucky!

Beautiful people having lots of sex...
I like Jackie Collins books for a light read on the beach. Her older books, the Lucky series, Hollywood Wives, and Hollywood Husbands I particularly liked. This is trashy, averagely written "literature", so I take it for what it is.

Although this book is fairly entertaining, it is inherently flawed. One thing Jackie Collins is good at is creating a variety of characters and bringing them all together in the end. She does that in all her books, and Lethal Seduction is no different. However, this book nowhere near measures up to her previous efforts. In fact, it almost feels like a duplicate of all her other books.

I'm so tired of all the women being the most beautiful thing on the face of the Earth. Sure, they may be famous, but not all famous people are beautiful! Second, all of her characters speak the exact same way. Some of them may speak a bit more slangy, but the vulgarity abounds from every character. I can't imagine some of these characters saying the things she has them say. All everyone does is have sex, and lots of it. Come on, how about some depth! The Gem character was ridiculous, yet another perfect and innocent wannabe actress. Dexter talks to her for five minutes, and he's in love? And he practically stalks her from Vegas and she doesn't think he's a nutcase?

I don't know...this book is good for a day at the beach, but don't expect anything groundbreaking, and don't expect anything different from any of her other novels.

Typical Jackie Collins
This book is written in the true Jackie Collins fashion. Tales of the glitz and glamour of New York and Hollywood. That is what makes it so great. The book is mainly about Madison Castelli, the main character in her LA Connections series. It was great bringing her back and being able to see more of her life and history. It also brings in some unusual characters, although they are all the usual type of characters that you find in Jackie Collins novels.

Of course there's raunchy sex. If there wasn't, it wouldn't be Jackie Collins. She truly has a talent for writing and her characters come alive in every book she's written. This one is no exception. I haven't even finished the book yet, but I'm writing this review because it is such a great read.

She does an excellent job referencing other characters from several of her other books as well. Some that you'll hear mentioned in Lethal Seduction are Kris Phoenix, Lucky Santangelo and Charlie Dollar.

I look forward to the rest of the book. I hope her future books further develop some of the minor characters in this book. And of course another Lucky Santangelo novel would be greatly welcomed, though I'm not sure that will happen.
