However, Grammar Notes for Introductory Classic Chinese is a good reference book for those students embarking on the initial study of classical Chinese. The book gives a good overview of the more common grammar structures encountered in classical Chinese with concise and clear definitions. Helpful example sentences are included to aid the student.
This book is NOT for the novice. It is for the student/scholar of classical Chinese. It is a useful reference work and is a welcome addition to a Sinologist's reference desk.
