Cancer patients don't just need the medical facts
Cancer patients also need to feel happier (don't we all?) This title
will help. Great book!!!

What a book!
"Cancer Has Its Privileges" is one of the funniest and most inspiring books ever written about a disease half of us will end up with --- and one quarter of us will end up dying from. Christine Clifford's keen wit and unique insights --- and, most of all, her humorous personal experiences --- helps to turn a tough pill to swallow into a spoonful of sugar. Christine is America's version of a modern day Mary Poppins....they even look alike! You'll be glad Christine landed on your front doorstep and popped into your life, especially if you or someone you love is battling cancer. If that's the case, then reading Christine's book is not only just the right medicine, it's a real privilege, too!

Best Scottish Series
Another book in a wonderful series. I have moved mountians to get my fingers on all of these books. If I had known Amazon.com had them, I wouldn't have needed to bribe my English friends to get them for me.

Not Now...I'm Having a No Hair Day
Disappointed. I found more laughter in my own personal experience with cancer treatment and hair loss than I found in these pages. I laughed out loud once. I expected more.

In contrast I found another book: No More Bad Hair Days to be very wise AND very funny. Just the ticket!

Made my mom smile
I gave this to my mom, she laughed and was able to identify with the book. I read it too and enjoyed it. I think it depends on where you are in your treatment. If you need to laugh and are around others who won't or don't know how too, then this is a refreshing book. Sometimes when familes are dealing with this disease, they are afraid to laugh. And to see my mom smile, during a time when she knew what the outcome was, well it made all the difference in the world. It is a short book.

Very funny, yet frank depiction of hair loss
Ms. Clifford captures the humor of the highly emotional experience of being treated for cancer. She focuses mostly on hair loss (hence the title), but also on radiation and chemo. Laughter is great medicine, so I suggest you add this book to the treatment regimine of any woman going through cancer treatment.
