Lowfat Cuisine
I am very delighted with the purchase of this cookbook. Due to health reasons within the last few years, I have been adding lowfat cooking to my menu. Holly provides some very lowfat and tasty recipes anyone will enjoy. The Heavenly Cheesecake was a sweet treat to my whole family. A good lowfat cookbook to add to anyone's cookbook collection! I recommend it.

My favorite cookbook!
This cookbook has been our favorite for the last couple of years. At first glance, the recipes appear to be too simple to be exciting, but somehow they pack a lot of complexity and flavor into a few ingredients. It is the PERFECT cookbook for everyday after work cooking, but there are also plenty of recipes that you will want to serve your guests too. Their grilled flank steak recipe is a standard at every summer party I throw, and it gets rave reviews every time.

Easy and Delicious
Being not the best of cooks, and having an active family makes dinner, at times, difficult. This cook book saved me time, and my family actually ate what I cooked! Most of the ingredients were in my pantry and the southwestern dishes were out of this world. This is a must for the busy woman, and by using these recipes, everyone thought I had taken cooking classes!

In a Hurry? Here's a cookbook for your lifestyle
"Meals on the Move: Rush Hour Recipes" is sure to delight the tastebuds of anyone who tries the recipes. And the best part is that they are not only delicious but can be created in thirty minutes or less. The American Institute for Cancer Research was consulted on the preparation of the meals and many of the recipes designed to include extra fruits and vegetables. Quick, nutritious, healthy, tasty; what more could you ask for from a recipe book?
The front of the book has "Mix and Match Menus". For several given categories of menu types (Italian, Casual, Greek, Mexican, etc.) there are suggested Starters, Main Dishes, Sides, Salads & Breads, and Desserts so it is easy to plan a complete meal of complementary dishes easily.
Extras include a comb style binding so the book will lie flat when used, notation for several recipes on how to alter the recipe to make it even more healthy, nutritional facts, and Tips and Tricks.
Some absolutely fantastic choices include Spinach and Tomato Crustless Quiche, Mushroom Barley soup, and Potato Pizza (an excellent heat and eat breakfast too if any is left over).
A fantastic recipe book that should be in everyone's kitchen in today's hectic world. A highly recommended buy.

This is my favorite cookbook.
I love Mexican food and this book has so many recipes that satisfy my cravings for spicy food without the saturated fat of my usual recipes. I've made a number of these dishes and I'm just amazed every time at how flavorful they turn out. My favorite discovery was the Taco Soup (so easy and tasty!) and I find I have to double the recipe if I want any leftover to freeze. It seems the recipes have similar ingredients so shopping is easy and if I decide I'm not in the mood for chicken, I can usually find a pasta or pork recipe that uses the same ingredients. I also found the desserts to be high in flavor and low in calories and fat. I learned about the cookbook through a fitness segment on the news and I just can't say enough good things about this cookbook. It's the best purchase I've made in a long time!

For nutrition conscious kitchen cooks with time constraints
Meals On The Move: Rush Hour Recipes offers delightful, nutritious, and "kitchen friendly" recipes for quick to prepare recipes that will satisfy any appetite and please any palate. Enhanced with information on Nutritional Analysis and Diabetic Exchanges (drawn from the American Institute for Cancer Research); "Healthier Approach"; Food Facts; a Mix & Match Menu Planner; and a Tips and Tricks Section; Meals On The Move with its comb-style binding (allowing for the cookbook to lay flat upon the counter) is truly impressive. From Strawberry Bread; Broccoli and Cauliflower Salad; Glazed Salmon with Cantaloupe Salsa; and Stuffed Potatoes Primavera; to Asparagus with Lemon Caper Vinaigrette; Triple Corn Pudding; Mexican Layered Dip; and Banana Pie with Chocolate Glaze, Meals On The Move is an ideal cookbook choice for nutrition conscious kitchen cooks with time constraints.

Good Recipes--to much alcohol
The majority of the recipes in this cookbook are good and use "normal" ingredients. One flaw and this is not listed anywhere in the reviews is that a large number of the recipes call for alcohol. I believe this is an important piece of information that should be brought to buyers attention. Some people can not cook using alcohol.

You won't know it's good for you!
I'm in the process of collecting all of Holly Clegg's books! This one tones down the fat in some home cooking favorites! A must have for anyone trying to eat healthy or just improve their lifestyle. The recipes are fantastic - all dishes you've heard of and contain nothing you have to make a special trip to the grocery store to buy! Holly is definitely on the right track!!

Fantastic tasting recipes
My refrigerator and cupboard always has the ingredients for the recipes in this cookbook. Most of the recipes have the same basics to them so I don't have to go out and buy a lot of different ingredients.

I in no way enjoy cooking so I'm not exactly in practice, but I can impress my husband of 3 years everytime I cook something from this cookbook. Every recipe has so much flavor. I love this cookbook. I can't wait to get Ms. Clegg's other books.

Good stuff, but the other books are better
Like all of her books, this one has wonderful recipes, but some of them seem recycled from her other books. There is also kind of a dated feel about the book, like it came out in the early 80s or something. However, if you want to just skip the main course and make desert, this book's for you.

DESSERTS FOR ALL OCCASIONS WITH YUMMY RESULTS
I especially loved the Quick and Easy Section as it gave me great ideas to make when I needed a delicious dessert quickly such as the Quick Chocolate Chip Bars and Qucik Blueberry Pound Cake. The "Trim & Terrific" section was too good to be true. When I prepared The Banana Pudding Trifle, everyone asked for the recipe and no one could believe it was low fat. I work and don't have time and this book is the answer to my lifestyle with practical indulgent recipes.

Delicious desserts for all occations
This book provides a scrumptious array of desserts for all occasions. Recipes vary in range of difficulty from easy to hard. Thankfully, most use common ingredients & quite a few photographs are shown.

Recipes include cookies, bar cookies, cakes, pies, & candies. There are special sections focusing on quick & easy to make recipes, to more elegant desserts for parties as well some lower fat selections for dieters.

Some of my favorites include the cowboy cookies, chocolate angel pie & almond custard. I frequently entertain & my guests were very impressed with the bananas flambé as well as the Grand Marnier soufflé.

My favorite recipe is the better than sex cake. Not only does it taste divine but it is fairly easy to make and has only 4 grams of fat per serving. This book would definitely make a great gift for anyone.
