Dr. Wear-Finkle has succeeded in creating an extremely well-written, comprehensive reference book of a generally unfamiliar and very intimidating subject to most clinicians. Her approach is impressive in both its clarity and organization. While it is an easy read, it goes beyond a "...for Dummies" approach. This excellent reference is worth the time investment to read in its entirety. After reading it, a physician has a greater respect, and less unfounded fear, of lawsuits. Dr. Wear-Finkle provides simple, common sense, and some not-so-obvious tips on avoiding litigation, as well as sound advice on what to do when litigation occurs. It is appropriate addition to any clinician's library.

A wonderful tongue and cheek approach to what is to often an after thought in the world of medicine. Whether you're a practitioner or an administrator you'll find this humorous little book a priceless guide to avoiding the day-to-day gauntlet of potentially disastrous medico legal risks. Wear-Finkle has crafted a tremendous quick read resource that will be invaluable tool for the beginner or even the most seasoned veteran of the healthcare field. A must buy!!!!

I can't recommend it enough! Get it for all your children! The pictures are very detailed and realistic, and the maps are excellent.

Dave Robinson has done a wonderful job collecting satirical psychiatric humor. This book, and others he has written or published by Rapid Psychler Press, are instructional and entertaining. Highly recommended.

The format is a mass-market paperback, but this isn't a novelization but rather the screenplay as the movie was made. You'll notice that last has a subtle distinction. Oftentimes screenplays differ notably from the movies as you see them--scenes are cut because they didn't work, cost too much to do, or just because of the limits of time. The screenplays of Brazil and Monty Python and the Holy Grail are full of wonderful little tidbits that didn't make it to the screen. Unfortunately, for Life of Brian, there's only the parts that did get made, which are funny indeed, but you've already seen them.

I wholeheartly recomend this book to someone just starting out in plasma processing. It is THE best introductory book on the subject.

However, if you have read the literature and have been exposed to the subject for a while, you will find that the book is very basic and a little outdated. Chapman used to be the VP of Technology for a Plasma Etch firm when he wrote the 1st edition. Now he is (and has for some time been) President of a vacuumn diagnostics company. He really has not been updating this. With that caveat, if the other books/literature is "over your head" - go to this book for simply to understand explanations of so called "low temperature" plasma phenemena.

While the specifics of various systems is dated, this is a great reference for the basics of plasma processing. Even though the equipment I use today is significantly more advanced I continually refer to this work for baseline information. The explanations are clear and well written. A rare example of a reference / textbook one can actually read.

This is the ideal book for beginning students attempting to navigate the maze of plasma physics for the first time. The book concentrates on developing an intuitive feel for ionized gases while including enough real physics to back up the intuition with numbers. It's unfortunate that the publisher has priced this work out of the range of the average student for whom it would be so useful.
