Probably the best book on Fred Astaire's career, this has everything, including frame-by-frame analyses of each of his dances. Mueller is obviously a fan, and sometimes finds things to praise in films that are actually pretty dull ("The Sky's the Limit," "Belle of New York"). But unlike most movie books, this one is fully thought-out, beautifully written, and just about exhaustive. Even the footnotes and appendices make entertaining reading.

I originally read Katz's book in 1995. Images and examples from the book stick with me to do this day. It is the very ordinariness of evil actions (unethical choices) that makes this book outstanding. I recommend that people who work in any kind of organization read this book and think about it the next time they say or think, "It won't hurt anyone if I do it this way this one time," or "I'm just obeying orders. . ." A frightening but illuminating book.

This book is a necessity for any criminal defense lawyer. This contains the information police use in their training and procedure, as well as what to expect from an expert witness. Outstanding references after each chapter on where to find additional information as well as your own experts. Not as many illustrations as previous editions, but much more up to date material such as DNA testing and the background information so any lay person can understand what the experts are doing.
