A fun book for parents and kids
We all love this book. It's about the only one that I have to read again and again and don't get bored with it.... Our baby loves lifting the flaps (and she's only 13 months), and smiles when we make animal noises that go along with the picture (the monkey page is the funniest!) A great buy.

Great lift-the-flap book!
This book is not only interesting for my toddler daughter, it is very sturdy as well. The flaps are very well constructed and have withheld the test of time from when she was only 6 months old. This book was also a great book for her to learn the names of animals through anticipation. We both love this book!

Great for toddlers
My 21 month old loves this - it's got great animals & nice pictures. Highly recommend

Have a spare around
I have been trying to get my 18 month old son interested in books. Then this book came along and he can't get enough of it. He wants me to read it over and over......and if I don't, he flips through it himself. It makes him laugh so hard at the end. He loves swatting at the alligator. I have to hide it from him in fear that he will ruin it and be terribly sad. So, I plan on getting the same book just for back-up. Plus, my 3 1/2 yr old son knows all the words to the book and pretends to read it to my younger son. It is too cute.

a great book for little minds and fingers...
i bought this book for a friend's child who was one, and i have to say it went over so big i had to run out and find one for my own bunch. it's fun, it's touchy-feely and it's interactive and educational especially for the 1-3 age range. the kids love the bit with the crocodile at the end - parents, if you buy this, be mentally prepared to read it over and over until you're blue in the face...

My son's first suspense book!
This is such a great book, my son loves to touch all the surfaces and anxiously awaits the big hairy spider at the end! I find him "reading" this book often, always going to the last page!

A Favorite
This book is only five pages long, but my one-year-old loves it. He gets to stick his finger in the shark's toothy mouth and other such activities. High excitement!

Great book for the beginner
I ordered this book expecting a lot of computer jargon that I would not understand. I am new to programming and this book really helped me learn a few things about VB5 and web development. The instructions were very informative and really explained how everything works. There were lessons to follow that made everything easier for me. The CD that comes with the book was very helpful and made the location of the code in the book easily accessible for reference. I would recommend this book to anyone learning VB5 and web development.

this book is entertaining and educational for pre-schoolers
Preschoolers love this book. I've read it to groups in the library - it's perfect for the preschool classroom too as well as one-to-one between parent and child. Buster visits grandmother's farm and goes to look for some eggs. He visits the animals, hidden under flaps, and asks for eggs - the horse, the cow the pig and so one until he finally finds an egg for his breakfast under the hen. Each time (until the end of course) the refrain "no eggs here. Oh Dear!" is repeated and children soon catch on and join in. I hope the publisher will reprint this book, it deserves a long and happy life. A great companion for this book in the classroom would be Ruth Heller's CHICKENS AREN'T THE ONLY ONES.

A great first book
My daughter has loved this book from the very beginning. She was fascinated by the animals revealed when I lifted the flaps, and then had a great time learning how to lift the flaps herself as she grew older. She's a year old now and brings it to me to read to her more than any other book that we have. She gets a kick out of the animal sounds we make when we lift the flaps, too. It's the only lift-the-flap book we have that she hasn't managed to tear off any flaps. I think this book has been instrumental in showing her how much fun books can be - I highly recommend it.

Good choice for very young children.
I gave this book to my 1-year-old niece about 6 months ago, and she absolutely loves it! She still has to read it at least once a night. She gets such a kick out of lifting the flaps to see what's hiding underneath. I highly recommend this book.

A favorite with my two year old
This is a great early book. My son loves lifting up the flaps and making noises for all the different animals hidden below. I must have read it to him more than 100 times but neither of us are tired of it yet!

Poor effort at updating a VB5 book.
For a book to be called VB6 for Web Developement I would have thought it would have extensive coverage of the new VB6 IIS application project. If your looking for information on IIS apps look elswhere.

Step by step walkthru of VB 6.0 / Web projects
This is the book I was looking for. A walk thru example is the way I like to learn. The book walks you through four major projects with database connections via the Web.

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that I think it went too much into discussing development methodology.

Recommendation
Compliments to the authors. I've looked long for a practical book that links VB to web site development. This one fills the bill. I recommend it highly. Thanks to the authors for an accessible book that is not micky-mouse.
